**UPDATES**

Sexual Battery *ARREST – On January 14th, detectives from the Special Victim’s Bureau were able to identify the suspect involved in the sexual battery which was reported to have occurred at the Potomac Library located at 2201 Opitz Blvd in Woodbridge on January 11th. Detectives located the accused in the area of Featherstone Plz and, following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.
Arrested on January 14th:
David Morgan SULLIVAN, 27, of 14758 Candlewood Ct in Woodbridge
Charged with aggravated sexual battery, indecent exposure, masturbation in public, indecent liberties with a minor and assault & battery
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond

Sexual Battery (Previously Released)– On January 11th at 5:20PM, police responded to the Potomac Library located at 2201 Opitz Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) for an assault. The victim, a 14 year old female of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was standing outside of the library when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. The man began to talk to the victim while he was still behind her. At one point, the man sexually assaulted the victim. The victim received a phone call and the man left the area. The victim was not injured. At the time of the incident, the library was closed.

Armed Robbery | Strong Armed Robberies *ARREST – On January 14th, detectives from the Robbery Unit, with the assistance of Manassas Park Police officers, were able to identify the suspect involved in the robberies which were reported to have occurred in the Manassas area on January 11th. The suspect, identified as the accused, was located in Manassas. Following the investigation, the accused was connected to the 2 robberies from January 11th and an additional robbery from November 29th [2012].
Arrested on January 14th:
Luetenant HOUSE JR, 22, of 9303 Hood Rd in Manassas
Charged with strong armed robbery [for the Jan 11th incident at the Shell Convenience Store], attempted armed robbery [for the Jan 11th incident at the Super Check Cashing] and armed robbery [for the Nov 29th incident at the Super Check Cashing]
Court dates set for March 4 and 20, 2013, held WITHOUT bond

Strong Armed Robberies (Previously Released) – On January 11th at 10:33AM police responded to Super Cash Checking located at 10280 Festival Ln in Manassas (20109) for an attempted robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and attempted to kick open an interior office door. The man did not gain entry and fled the scene. No weapon was used or implied in this incident. No injuries were reported and no property or money was taken. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the suspect, who was not located. The same day, at 12:21PM, police responded to the Shell Convenience Store located at 7025 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter to make a purchase. Once the employee opened the register to give the man his change, the man reached over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area on foot. No weapon was used or implied in this incident and no injuries were reported. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the suspect, who was not located. The suspect in both incidents is believed to be the same man, see surveillance footage. There is also believed to be a second unknown suspect, no description, who acts as a driver following the incidents.

Armed Robbery (Previously Released) – On November 29th at 7:36PM, police responded to Super Check Cashing located at 10280 Festival Ln in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

Strong Armed Robbery *ARREST – On January 15th, the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force apprehended the 3rd suspect, SELLERS, responsible for the robbery and assault which was reported to have occurred in the 3200 block of Berlin Ct in Woodbridge on October 26th. The accused was located at an address in Manassas.

Corey Deshawn SELLERS, 20, of 14170 Cuddy Loop #202 in Woodbridge
Charged with robbery and malicious wounding by mob

Strong Armed Robbery (Previously Released) – On October 26th at 9:17PM, police responded to the 3200 block of Berlin Ct in Woodbridge (22493) for a robbery. The victim, a 30 year old man, reported to police that he was sitting in his vehicle in the above area waiting on a friend when he was approached by 3 unknown men. The men assaulted the victim and took his cell phone before fleeing the area. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. On January 8th, through evidence recovered at the scene, detectives from the Robbery Unit obtained arrest warrants in connection to the strong armed robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 3200 block of Berlin Ct in Woodbridge on October 26th. The accused, LENG, was arrested without incident, the accused, NASH, is currently incarcerated in Fairfax County on unrelated charges and the accused, SELLERS, currently remains wanted on active warrants relating to this case.

**ARRESTS**

Residential Burglary – On January 14th at 3:03PM, police responded to the 1400 block of Forest Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary in progress. Caller reported to police that 2 unknown males were seen running from the backyard of his neighbor’s residence. Police arrived and discovered that a rear door had been forced open. No property was reported missing. Officers set up a perimeter around the neighborhood and a police K-9 was utilized in the search. Officers and the K-9 were led to an address in the 14700 block of Candlewood Ct where one of the suspects had forced his way into a residence through an unlocked door and past the homeowner. As officers approached, the suspect fled the residence on foot. Following a short foot pursuit, the suspect, identified as a juvenile, was located and arrested. Officers were then led to the location of the second suspect, also a juvenile, on Balsam Ct., where he was arrested. The extensive investigation conducted by detectives from the Property Crimes Unit identified the same suspects responsible for a burglary in the 14400 block of Meridian Dr earlier that day. Entry in that burglary is believed to have been made through an unsecured front door. Jewelry and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing. Detectives were further able to link one of the suspects to the burglaries [see previously released briefs on the next page], in Woodbridge from January 11th. Following the investigation, both males were arrested in connection to multiple burglaries.

Charged with 2 counts of burglary & 2 counts of grand larceny [from the Jan 11th incident on Forest Ln and the Jan 14th incident on Meridian Dr], 2 counts of burglary [for the Jan 14th incident on Candlewood Ct and the Jan 14th incident on Forest Ln] and 1 count of attempted burglary [from the Jan 11th incident on Woodside Dr]

A 15 year old male of Woodbridge
Charged with 1 count of burglary & 1 count of grand larceny [from the Jan 14th incident on Meridian Dr] and 1 count of burglary [from the Jan 14th incident on Forest Ln]

Court date for both unavailable, both held at a Juvenile Detention Facility

Residential Burglary (Previously Released) – On January 11th at 3:17PM, police responded to the 1400 block of Forest Ln in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 3:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a garage door which had been forced open.  An iPad and camera, valued around $1,700, were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary (Previously Released) – On January 11th at 11:30AM, police responded to the 1500 block of Woodside Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she heard a noise coming from a kitchen door. Upon checking out the noise, the homeowner discovered an unknown man on her porch attempting to open a rear door. Once discovered by the homeowner, the man fled the area on foot.  No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing. The homeowner was unable to provide a description of the man other than noting his complexion was dark.

**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding | Residential Burglary – On January 11th at 11:31PM, police responded to the 7200 block of Traphill Way in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary in progress. The victim, a 23 year old man of Gainesville, reported to police that he was inside his residence when he heard someone knock on his front door. Upon answering, 3 unknown men forced their way inside the residence. Once inside, the men assaulted the victim and, at one point, slashed at him with a sharp object. Following the assault, the men fled on foot. Minor injuries were reported. No property was reported missing. This incident does not appear to be random. Investigation continues.
Lookout:
All three suspects were described as black males, between 18 & 26 years of age, around 6’0”, 170lbs, with thin builds. No clothing description available.
