Malicious Wounding
On Dec. 2 at 8:05 p.m., police responded to Ashdale Plaza at 2898 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge for a stabbing. The male victim, 44 of no fixed address,reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, had stabbed him in the back. The incident appears to have stemmed from an ongoing feud between the two men. The victim was flown to an area hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. The accused fled prior to police arrival but was located a short time later. Arrested: Daniel Martin Clay, 39, of 14040 Matthews Dr. in Woodbridge. Charged with malicious wounding. Attempted Malicious Wounding/Domestic Related
On Dec. 3 at 5:56 a.m., police responded to the 16500 block of Sherwood Pl in Woodbridge for a domestic call. The female victim, 34 of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly grabbed a broom stick and struck her in the arm before grabbing a kitchen knife. Another occupant of the residence was able to stop the confrontation. The victim was able to leave the residence and contacted police. The victim sustained minor injuries. The accused was arrested without further incident. Arrested: Oscar Rene Gomez-Galeas, 34, of the 16500 block of Sherwood Place in Woodbridge. Charged with domestic assault and battery and attempted malicious wounding. Larcenies from Vehicles
On Nov. 28 at 1:17 a.m., police responded to the 15200 block of Crescent St. in Woodbridge for a suspicious person. Caller reported to police that he heard his car alarm going off and, upon investigating the noise, he saw three unknown persons, later identified as the below listed accused individuals, fleeing the area on foot. Police responded to the area and located the accused individuals trying to open car doors. All were detained without incident. The three accused individuals were later arrested and charged. In their possession was a flashlight and gloves. Arrested: Angel Castellon , 18, of 14731 Barksdale St. in Woodbridge. Charged with two counts of tampering with auto, one count of conspiracy to commit grand larceny and one count of possession of burglarious tools. Court date unavailable, held on a $5,000 secured bond. Arrested: Andre Kenneth Brice, 19, of 2946 Wetherburn Ct. in Woodbridge. Charged with one count of conspiracy to commit grand larceny and one count of possession of burglarious tools. Court date unavailable, held without bond. Arrested: Vicky Samantha Flores, 19, of 14731 Barksdale St. in Woodbridge. Charged with one count of conspiracy to commit grand larceny. Court date unavailable, held on a $3,000 secured bond.
INCIDENT REPORTS
Attempted Armed Robbery
On Dec. 4 at 11:55 p.m., police responded to the MVC at 17505 Jefferson Highway in Woodbridge for an attempted robbery. Clerk reported to police that he was closing the store when he was approached by an unknown man who displayed a handgun. The clerk fled the store and called police. No injuries were reported and no items were reported missing. Lookout: Black male, between 18 & 20, 5’09” 115 lbs., thin build, black hair, brown eyes with collar-length dreadlocks. Last seen wearing a black jacket, tan pants, black shoes and a black skull-style cap.
Attempted Armed Robbery
On Dec. 3 at 12:07 a.m., police responded to the 3200 block of Antrim Circle in Dumfries for an attempted robbery. The male victim, 31 of Dumfries, reported to police that he was walking up to his residence in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. One of the men implied he had a handgun while the other male searched the victim. After checking the victim, the two men got into a vehicle and left the area. No injuries were reported and no items were reported missing. Lookout: Two black males, both between 18 & 22. First male was around 5’10” 160 lbs., thin build, short black hair, brown eyes. Last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. Second male was around 5’10” 160 lbs., thin build, short black hair, brown eyes with long dreadlocks. Last seen wearing black long-sleeve shirt and a black beanie-style cap. Vehicle Lookout: Gold four- door vehicle, possibly a Dodge Stratus or Ford Taurus.
Burglary
On Dec. 2 at 6:24 p.m., police responded to the 13800 block of Meadowbrook Road in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:45 a.m. and 6:10 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been forced opened. Jewelry, valued around $6,000, was reported missing.

On Dec. 2 at 6:14 p.m., police responded to the 4600 block of Evansdale Road in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Entry appeared to have been gained through an unlocked window. Jewelry and a laptop, valued around $8,500, in addition to, an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing.

On Dec. 2 at 12:50 p.m., police responded to the 13900 block of Mattapony Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been broken out. No items were reported missing.
Burglary
On Dec. 2 at 8:25 a.m., police responded to the 14700 block of Delano Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary to a vacant residence. Property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3 p.m. Nov. 19 and 8:25 a.m. Dec. 2. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door that had been forced opened. Copper piping of unknown value was reported missing.

On Nov. 30 at 2:20 p.m., police responded to the 15200 block of Wentwood Lane in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been forced opened. Clothing and other items, valued around $2,500, in addition to, an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing.
