*ARRESTS**
CORRECTED Shooting | Armed Robbery – On December 3rd at 4:57PM, police responded to the 18200 block of Graham Ct in Triangle (22172) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victims, a 23 year old woman of Triangle and a 42 year old man Fredericksburg, drove to the area above with a known female acquaintance, a 47 year old woman of Triangle. The female acquaintance was the driver of the vehicle and had picked up the two victims in the area of the Dumfries Shopping Plz and drove them to Graham Ct to meet up with an unknown man. Once there, the man approached the vehicle, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the male victim. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the male victim before assaulting him with the firearm. The male victim was seated in the backseat of the vehicle, directly behind the female victim who was seated in the front passenger seat of the vehicle. During the assault, the handgun discharged, striking the female victim in the upper body. Following the shooting, the female acquaintance drove the vehicle to the nearby Dumfries-Triangle Rescue Station located on Graham Park Rd were rescue personnel aided the victims. The female victim was flown to an area hospital and the male victim was ground transported, both sustained non-life threatening injuries. Through the investigation, detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau learned that the female victim was actually involved in the encounter with the unknown man on Graham Ct. The female victim, now the accused, had arranged the meeting to take place near the cul-de-sac and had been inadvertently shot during the encounter. The male victim and the female acquaintance were not involved in the arrangement. Detectives are still working to identify the shooter in this incident which was not random. The investigation continues.

Charged with robbery and malicious wounding
Court date set for January 16, 2013, held WITHOUT bond

Black male, between 20 & 25 years of age, 5’7”, 140lbs, thin build with short black hair
Last seen wearing a black beanie style hat and a black jacket with 2 horizontal red stripes on the left upper sleeve
**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On December 3rd at 9:55PM, police responded to the 14500 block of Collingham Pl in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00PM on November 30th and 12:00PM on December 1st. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked rear door. A gaming console with related games and equipment, valued around $700, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 3rd at 2:59PM, police responded to the 14800 block of Empire St in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 2:50PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear dog door which had been previously boarded up. It is believed the suspect(s) removed the boards and entered the residence. A laptop, gaming console and other property, valued around $2,000, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 3rd at 1:50PM, police responded to the 2100 block of Sentry Falls Way in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:15AM and 1:10PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. A laptop, valued around $2,000, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 3rd at 12:57PM, police responded to the 13800 block of Piedmont Vista Dr in Haymarket (20169) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00PM on December 1st and 1:20PM on December 3rd. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement window after a screen on the window was cut. No property was reported missing.
