*ARRESTS**

Rape – On November 6th, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 8200 block of Spruance Ct in Manassas (20109). The investigation revealed that the victim, 20 year old woman of Manassas, was at the residence of a known acquaintance, the accused, when he reportedly raped her. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.
Arrested on November 7th:
Deyuis TORRES, 21, of 82111 Spruance Ct in Manassas
Charged with rape
Court date set for December 19th 2012, held WITHOUT bond

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 6th at 9:53AM, police responded to the Dollar Tree located at 12372 Dillingham Sq in Woodbridge (22192) for a shoplifter. Following an investigation, police placed the accused under arrest for shoplifting. As the officer was placing the accused in the cruiser, she turned towards his direction and spat in the officer’s face. The accused was transported to the Garfield station for processing. Once there, the accused kicked the same officer while in lockup. Minor injuries were reported.

Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery on LEO and petit larceny
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond

Residential Burglary – On November 7th at 1:14AM, police responded to the 18200 block of Tebbs Ln in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she was sleeping in her bedroom when she awoke to find her neighbor, the accused, standing at the foot of her bed. After a brief encounter the accused left and returned to his residence where police located him. Officers checked the residence and determined that the accused had cut a screen from an unlocked window to make entry. No property was reported missing. Upon searching the accused, a knife was discovered. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Henry Osiris VILLATORO, 23, of 18205 Tebbs Ln in Dumfries
Charged with burglary, possession of burglarious tools and destruction of property
Court date set for December 28, 2012, held WITHOUT bond

**INCIDENTS**

Death Investigation – On Wednesday, November 7th at 1:14PM, the Prince William County and Fairfax County Police Dive Teams, with the assistance of a helicopter from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency, recovered the body of an adult female from the Potomac River.  The body has seen been identified as the victim who was reported missing on November 5th from family members residing in Fairfax County. The investigation led detectives to the area of Marina Way in Occoquan where the victim owns and docks a boat. The victim was last seen in that area on November 3rd at 7:00PM. The victim is believed to have accidentally fallen into the water from the dock. On November 6th, the Prince William County Dive Team and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter conducted a search of the water in the area of the dock but did not locate the victim. A more extensive search was conducted on November 7th in which the U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter located the victim in water off of Belmont Bay. Foul play is not believed to have occurred in this case.

The victim has been identified as Cheryl Ann ALSTON, 66, of Fairfax

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On November 6th at 11:17PM, police responded to the 14400 block of Brook Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a shots fired call. Multiple callers reported to police that several gunshots were heard in the area. A group of juveniles were also seen dispersing the area at the same time. Officers checked the area and did not locate any suspects or shell casings. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Attempted Strong Armed Robbery – On November 6th at 5:57PM, police responded to the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr in Dumfries (22026) for an attempted robbery. The victim, a 46 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was delivering pizza to an address in the area above when he was approached by an unknown man. The man asked the victim how much money he had and then attempted to grab him. The victim was able to get to get back to his vehicle and contact police. No injuries were reported and no property was taken.

Black male, between 40 & 45 years of age, 5’7” / 160lbs, medium build with short black hair and a beard
Last seen wearing a red hat with a “W” in the middle, a black jacket and dark pants

Residential Burglary – On November 7th at 2:17PM, police responded to the 4900 block of Kraft Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:55AM and 2:05PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door which had been broken out. A handgun, jewelry, and other property, valued around $13,000, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 7th at 11:09AM, police responded to the 11200 block of Edgemoore Ct in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 11:09AM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door which had been broken out. Two gaming consoles and related equipment, valued around $1,400, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 6th at 11:35PM, police responded to the 9800 block of Shallow Creek Lp in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 8:00AM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked front door. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 6th at 7:12PM, police responded to the 14100 block of Mapledale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 6:20PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a side door which had been forced open.  Jewelry, 2 laptops, a gaming console with related gems and equipment and other property, valued around $2,300, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 5th at 2:48PM, police responded to the 12000 block of Vint Hill Rd in Bristow (20136) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00AM and 2:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. A stereo, valued around $100, was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On November 6th at 11:04AM, police responded to the 12400 block of Eden Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that she was in the basement of her residence when she heard a noise coming from the basement door. Upon checking the noise, the homeowner discovered an unknown man standing outside attempting to open the door. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.

Last seen wearing a white jump suit, a white hooded sweatshirt, white gloves, mask and black shoes
