Armed Robbery
ADDITIONAL ARRESTSPolice have arrested all remaining suspects involved in the below listed robbery reported to have occurred on October 31st. Arrested (11/01): Andre Maurice Diggs, 19, of 14832 Elmwood Dr in Woodbridge. Charged with robbery and assault by mob. Court date unavailable, held without bond. Arrested: A-17-year-old male of Woodbridge – supposedly the suspect who implied the handgun. A 17-year-old male of Woodbridge. A 16-year-old male of Woodbridge. All juveniles have been charged with robbery and assault by mob. Court date unavailable, held at a juvenile detention facility.
Armed Robbery (Previously Released)
On Oct. 31 at 8:49 p.m., police responded to investigate a robbery, which was reported to have occurred in the area of Redwing Drive and Starling Court in Dale City. The male victims, 15 and 17, reported to police they were in the area above when they were approached by five unknown males. One of the men allegedly implied he had a handgun and demanded the victims’ candy. The victims refused and were assaulted. Minor injuries were reported. Police were able to identify one of the males, a juvenile. The investigation continues into the remaining suspects. Arrested: A 17-year-old male of Woodbridge. Charged with robbery and assault by mob. Court date unavailable, held at a juvenile detention facility.
OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Attempted Burglary
On Nov. 1 at 4:33 p.m., police responded to the 2700 block of Omisol Road in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police she was out running errands when her alarm company informed her of an activation. The homeowner, after returning home, reported nothing out of place, however, later in the day released that a door handle on a rear door was loose. No entry was gained into the residence and no items were reported missing.
