ARRESTS
Strong Armed Robbery

On Nov. 26 at 7:27 p.m., police responded to the Powerhouse Gym at 3115 Golansky Blvd. for a fight. The male victim, 20 of Woodbridge, reported to police he was inside the gym when he was approached by the accused, a known acquaintance. The victim and accused got into a verbal argument that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly pushed the victim and took his phone, valued around $600, before fleeing the gym and getting into a vehicle. The phone was recovered in the parking lot. The accused was located at his residence and arrested without further incident. Arrested: Zeshan Nasir, 21, of 13211 Kinnicutt Dr. in Woodbridge. Charged with robbery. Court date set for Jan. 18, 2012, held without bond.

Malicious Wounding
On Nov. 24 at 5:49 a.m., police responded to the 7500 block of Kimberton Ct. in Manassas for an assault. The male victim, 26 of Sterling, reported to police he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly struck the victim several times causing minor injuries. The victim was transported to an area hospital. The accused was arrested without further incident. Arrested: Michael Keith Rothwell, 26, of 5483 Braddock Ridge Dr. in Centreville. Charged with malicious wounding. Court date set for Jan. 17, 2012, held without bond.

INCIDENT REPORTS
Death Investigation

On Nov. 27 at 7:28 a.m., police responded to the 3000 block of Range Road in Quantico for a pedestrian struck by a train. The investigation revealed the victim was walking near the northbound tracks in the area above when he was struck by a passing train. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. At this point, the death is considered accidental. Identified: The victim has been identified as Joseph Wilson, 33 – no fixed address.

Assault by Mob
On Nov. 26 at 1:10 p.m., police responded to investigate a fight that was reported to have occurred at Addy’s Bar at 10820 Balls Ford Road in Manassas on Nov. 25 at 11:50 p.m. The female victim, 27 of Ashburn, reported to police she was inside the bar when she got into a verbal altercation, with a group of unknown females and one male, which escalated. During the encounter, the group allegedly pushed the victim, knocking her to the ground. The group continued to assault the victim until the fight was broken up. The group dispersed. The victim sustained minor injuries. Lookout: Three white females—first female was between 26 & 32, 5’05” 160 lbs., blonde hair. Second female was between 45 & 60, 5’05” 150 lbs., blonde hair. Third female was between 26 & 32, 5’05” 160 lbs., blonde hair. The male was between 40 & 45, 6’00” 270 lbs., brown hair.

Burglary
On Nov. 27 at 10:22 p.m., police responded to the 8300 block of Cobb Road in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 1 and 10 p.m.. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been kicked in. A TV and laptop valued around $1,600 were reported missing. A 2009, black, Nissan Pathfinder with VA license plate XNL-6392 was also reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 27 at 8:31 p.m., police responded to the 15200 block of Valley Stream Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 p.m. Nov. 23 and 8:10 p.m. Nov. 27. There were no signs of forced entry into that residence. Entry is believed to have been made through a rear door. A flashlight and watch, valued around $400, were reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m., police responded to the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr. in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a side window that had been broken out. A TV and laptop valued around $700 were reported missing.

Burglary to a Business
On Nov. 26 at 2:19 a.m., police responded to the main office of the Westgate Apartment Complex at 8025 Ashland Ave. in Manassas for an alarm. Police arrived on scene and discovered a rear door damaged and an opened side window. Only one interior office was entered and ransacked. No items were reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 25 at 4:30 p.m., police responded to the 4600 block of Central Park Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 p.m. Nov. 23 and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 25. Entry appeared to have been made through a side window that had been broken out. A laptop, TV and other items valued around $1,000, in addition to, an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 25 at 2:03 p.m., police responded to the 4400 block of Torrence Place in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 2:03 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into that residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked front door. A gaming console, valued around $400, was reported missing.

Burglary to a Business
On Nov. 25 at 6:24 a.m., police responded to the Panda Express at 2241-A Tacketts Mill Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Employees reported to police the burglary occurred between 11 p.m. and Nov. 23 and 6 a.m. Nov. 25. There were no signs of forced entry into the business. Entry is believed to have been made through a side window. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 23 at 4:34 p.m., police responded to the 1700 block of Shady River Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9 p.m. Nov. 11 and 6 a.m. Nov. 12. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. An iPad, valued around $800, was reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 22 at 4:10 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Darlington Loop in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4 p.m. Nov. 21 and 4 p.m. Nov. 22. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. No items were reported missing, however, interior damage was valued around $1,000.

Burglary
On Nov. 22 at 3:55 p.m., police responded to the 4800 block of Langer Lane in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 3:55 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been broken out. A laptop, gaming console, jewelry and other items valued around $1,500 were reported missing.

Burglaries
On Nov. 22 at 1:06 p.m., police responded to the 13600 block of Greenwood Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary to a vacant residence. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between noon Nov. 15 and 1 p.m. Nov. 22. Entry appeared to have been gained through a rear window, which had been broken out. Copper piping valued around $50 was reported missing. While conducting a canvass, police observed a second vacant residence on the same block had been burglarized. There were no signs of forced entry into that residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. Copper piping valued around $50 was reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 17 at 3:15 p.m., police responded to the 14700 block of Arizona Ave. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 2 and 4 p.m. Nov. 15. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked door. Miscellaneous medications valued around $15 were reported missing.
