**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On November 25th at 2:30AM, police responded to the 1400 block of California St in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery. The victim, a 52 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he had just parked his vehicle in the area above and, shortly after getting out of the vehicle, was approached by 2 unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded money. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before fleeing in a red, 4-door vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Both men were described as black males, unknown age, 6’, 160lbs, with thin builds
Last seen wearing black jackets, black pants black gloves and black masks
Armed Robbery – On November 24th at 11:25PM, police responded to the 4200 block of Kenton Cir in Dumfries (22026) for a robbery. The victim, a 19 year old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she was walking around her neighborhood with a known acquaintance, when they were approached by an unknown man. The man displayed a handgun and demanded property from the male acquaintance. The man took the victim’s cell phone before striking her in the head with the gun and fleeing the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported. No property was believed to have been taken from the victim’s acquaintance. The victim was only able to describe the suspect as a black male with a medium build.
Armed Robbery – On November 21st at 10:13PM, police responded to the Super 8 located at 7249 New Market Ct in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. The victim, a 22 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was standing to the side of the motel when he was approached by an unknown man. The man displayed a knife and took the victim’s black bag, containing a cell phone, before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported.
Lookout: Black male, between 18 & 24 years of age, 6’1”, 140lbs, thin build with short black hair and brown eyes.
Last seen wearing a res hooded sweatshirt and a black mask.
Strong Armed Robbery – On November 23rd at 9:48PM, police responded to the 14000 block of Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22192) for a robbery. The victim, a 23 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she had just left the Wal-Mart and walking to the rear area of the store when she was approached by an unknown man. The men demanded money and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.

Strong Armed Robbery – On November 21st at 11:35PM, police responded to the area of Freemont Pl and Ferndale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. The victim, a 25 year old man of Fairfax, reported to police that he picked up a known male acquaintance in Lorton and drive him to the area above. Once parked in the area, the acquaintance implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the victim. The acquaintance took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before getting out of the victim’s vehicle and running to an awaiting vehicle. That vehicle was occupied by an unknown driver. No injuries were reported. This incident was not random. Investigation continues.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On November 25th at 10:42AM, police responded to the 4500 block of Daisy Reid Ave in Woodbridge (22192) for a destruction of property. Caller reported to police that sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) fired multiple rounds into his vehicle which was parked in the parking lot in the area above. During a canvass, a neighbor reported hearing gunshots around 4:55AM and a white SUV leaving the area at a high rate of speed. No call was made to police at that time. No injuries or other property damage were reported.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On November 24th at 1:16AM, police responded to the 16400 block of Plumage Eagle St in Woodbridge (22191) for a shots fired call. Caller reported to police that several gunshots were heard in the area above. Officers checked the area and did not locate any suspects. No injuries or property damage were reported.
Residential Burglary – On November 25th at 2:30PM, police responded to the 1900 block of Winslow Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM on November 21st and 2:00PM on November 25th. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window. Jewelry, a laptop and 2 TV’s, valued $6,000, were reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On November 23rd at 11:00AM, police responded to the William Equipment Corporation located at 8587 J D Reading Dr in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on November 21st and 10:30AM on November 23rd. A lock had been removed to the front door of an industrial warehouse. No property was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On November 21st at 10:21AM, police responded to the 7800 block of Rebel Walk Dr in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30PM on November 20th and 10:00AM on November 21st. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window which had been removed. A TV, valued around $2,000, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On November 21st at 8:21AM, police responded to the 8200 block of Vermont Pl in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00AM and 8:15AM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door after a window next to the door was broken out to access the locking mechanism. A TV, 2 laptops, iPad, cell phone and a handgun, valued around $1,500, were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding – On November 22nd at 10:17PM, police responded to the 15500 block of Vint Hill Rd in Gainesville (20155) for a fight. The victims, a 41 year old man and a 33 year old man – both of Gainesville, reported to police that they were inside their residence in the above area when they heard their roommate, the accused, outside yelling. Upon confronting the accused, he assaulted the 33 year old victim. The accused then became increasing aggravated and, at one point, retrieved a knife and began swinging towards both victims, cutting the 41 year old victim to his arm. The accused fled but was located and arrested without further incident. Minor injuries were reported by both victims.

Attempted Armed Robbery – On November 25th at 9:25PM, police responded to the Shell Gas Station located at 2990 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot after a customer entered the store. No money was taken and no injuries were reported. A police K-9 was utilized in the search. Officers and the K-9 were able to locate the man on Gideon Dr near the PRTC Terminal where he was detained without incident. The man was identified as the accused and was arrested following the investigation.

Charged with attempted armed robbery
Court date set for January 16, 2013, held WITHOUT bond
Attempted Residential Burglary – On November 25th at 4:15AM, police responded to the 9700 block of Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas (20109) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she was asleep in the residence when she heard the sound of glass breaking. The homeowner immediately called police. Officers arrived and discovered a basement level sliding glass door had been broken out and that there appeared to be blood from one of the suspects on pieces of the glass. No property was reported missing. Additional officers checking the neighborhood stopped a vehicle, occupied by three men, as it was leaving the area. Two of the men had injuries consistent with breaking glass. Another occupant was in possession of a handgun which had been reported stolen. Following the investigation, all 3 men were connected to the burglary and were subsequently arrested.
