Armed Robbery

On Nov. 21 at 8:31 p.m., police responded to the Wal-Mart in Manassas Mall at 8386 Sudley Road in Manassas for a robbery. The male victim, 22 of Manassas, reported to police he was in his vehicle in the parking lot when he was approached by three unknown men. The men pulled the victim out of his vehicle. One of the men displayed a knife and took the victim’s jacket, which contained the victim’s wallet with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency inside. No injuries were reported. The victim was able to provide police with a limited description of the assailants. Lookout: All males were described as white males in their mid 20s.

Armed Robbery
On Nov. 21 at 6:20 p.m., police responded to the 7-11 at 14797 Darbydale Ave. in Woodbridge for a robbery. The clerk reported to police that an unknown man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and cigarettes before fleeing the store on foot. No injuries were reported. Police checked the surrounding area but did not locate the man. Lookout: Black male, between 18 and 25, 5’09” 160 lbs., thin build. Last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt under a red-and-white jersey, jeans, gloves and a mask.

Strong Armed Robbery
On Nov. 21 at 7:33 p.m., police responded to the 7500 block of Willoughby Lane in Manassas for a robbery. The female victim, 56 of Manassas, reported to police that she was taking groceries into her residence when she was approached by two unknown men near her vehicle in the parking lot. One of the men grabbed the victim’s purse before both men fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported.  Lookout: First male was black, between 18 and 23 years, 5’08” 160 lbs., thin build. Last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Second male was white, between 20 and 25, 6’0” 175 lbs., thin build. Last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Strong Armed Robbery
On Nov. 21 at 6:12 p.m., police responded to the 11900 block of Coverstone Hill Circle in Manassas for a robbery. The male victim, 16 of Manassas, reported to police he was walking on a foot path in the area above when he was approached by three unknown men. The men demanded the victim’s iPod and when the victim refused, the men assaulted him. The victim was knocked to the ground and the men took the iPod, valued around $100, before fleeing the area. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at an area hospital. Lookout: All assailants were described as black males, between 18 and 25, between 5’06” and 6’0”, thin builds. All were last seen wearing dark-colored clothing.

Attempted Strong Armed Robbery
On Nov. 21 at 8:11 p.m., police responded to the 5000 block of Ketch Ct. in Woodbridge for a robbery that was reported to have occurred Nov. 20 around 12:35 a.m. The male victim, 14 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by a group of unknown males. The group surrounded the victim and demanded money. After the victim showed the group that he didn’t have money, they began to assault him. The victim was able to get away but was tackled twice and assaulted again. The victim was able to finally get away and return home. Minor injuries were reported. No items were reported missing. The victim was able to provide police with a limited description of the assailants. Lookout: All assailants were described as black males, between 18 and 24, varying heights between 5’08” and 6’01”.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm
On Nov. 21 at 8:16 p.m., police responded to the area of Old Coach Road and Rippon Landing Boulevard in Woodbridge for a call of shots fired. Callers reported to police that a large fight was observed in the area above followed by gun shots. Prior to police arrival, several vehicles were reported to have left the area. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone suspicious. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Burglary
On Nov. 21 at 10:10 p.m., police responded to the 8200 block of Winstead Place in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7 and 10 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 21 at 2:16 p.m., police responded to the 14300 block of Southgate Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that she heard a loud noise coming from the lower level of the residence. Upon investigating the noise, the homeowner discovered a rear window that had been broken out. An interior utility room door was also discovered opened. No items were reported missing.
