Abduction | Assault & Battery *ARREST – On November 20th, detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau were able to identify the man involved in the abduction and assault & battery incident reported on November 18th at the Econo Lodge in Woodbridge. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against the accused. The accused turned himself into police without incident.
Arrested on November 20th:
Clarence Olutayo OLOWU, 28, of 204 Center Ln in Occoquan
Charged with abduction and assault & battery
Court date set for January 25, 2013, held WITHOUT bond
Abduction and Assault & Battery (Previously Released) – On November 18th at 9:20AM, police responded to the Econo Lodge located at 13317 Gordon Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an abduction and assault involving an employee. The victim, a 39 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was cleaning one of the rooms when an unknown man walked inside the room and closed the door. At that point, the man grabbed the victim however, she was able to defend herself causing the suspect to flee. No injuries were reported. Surveillance video at the motel was provided to police which showed the suspect involved. This incident is not related to the attempted abduction reported on the 17th at the Roadway Inn.
Residential Burglary *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On November 19th, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit West identified the suspect involved in the burglary which occurred in the 10000 block of Ellis Rd in Manassas on October 22nd. Following the investigation, the warrants were obtained against the accused.

Described as a black male, 5’10”, 165lbs, black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for burglary, grand larceny and grand larceny of a firearm
Residential Burglary (Previously Released) – On October 22nd at 3:17PM, police responded to the 10000 block of Ellis Rd in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 3:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a window which had been forced open. Multiple firearms, valued around $1,800, were reported missing.
**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Residential Burglary – On November 20th at 7:19PM, police responded to the 4500 block of Eastlawn Ave in Woodbridge (22193) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 7:30AM and 3:00PM, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a rear door which had been damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
