**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 31st at 7:09PM, police responded to the 16600 block of Flotilla Way in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 8:30PM on October 30th and 7:30PM on October 31st, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the residence through the front door which had been tampered with. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 31st at 6:29PM, police responded to the 8500 block of Charnwood Ct in Manassas (20109) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 9:00AM and 4:45PM, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the residence through the front door which had been tampered with. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 31st at 6:12PM, police responded to the 14800 block of Lee Hwy in Gainesville (20155) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 11:00AM and 12:00PM, an unknown person(s) through a rear window which was partially open. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding | Domestic Assault & Battery – On October 31st at 10:59PM, police responded to the 11400 block of Bacon Race Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a domestic. The victim, a 45 year old man of Woodridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and, at one point, grabbed a glass vase and struck the victim in the head. The victim sustained a severe laceration to the back of his head and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Charged with malicious wounding and domestic assault & battery
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond
Brandishing a Firearm – On October 31st at 8:56PM, police responded to the 15100 block of Catalpa Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a brandishing. The victim, a 21 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was delivering pizza to an address in the above area. As the victim exited his vehicle and was approaching the delivery address, he observed an unknown man across the street. The man, later identified as the accused, displayed a handgun and pointed it towards the victim. No shots were fired. The victim returned to his place of employment and contacted police. Officers responded to the offense location and located the accused which matched the description provided by the victim. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested. The gun was determined to be a BB gun.

Charged with brandishing a firearm and public intoxication
Court date set for November 20, 2012, held WITHOUT bond
