**ARRESTS**
Rape | Aggravated Sexual Battery – On November 18th, detectives from the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a rape which was reported to have occurred in the 4200 block of Glendale Rd in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victims, a 7 year old girl and a 9 year old girl, were both sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, while he was living at the residence. The abuse was reported to have taken place on multiple occasions since September of 2012. The girls reported the abuse to a neighbor which prompted the call to police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Andres Avelino REYES-GRANADOS, 30, of the 4200 block of Glendale Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with 3 counts of rape, 3 counts of forcible sodomy and 4 counts of aggravated sexual battery

Aggravated Sexual Battery | Indecent Liberties – On November 11th, detectives from the Special Victims Units began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 7500 block of Whitehall Dr in Manassas (20112). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 5 year old girl of Manassas, was sexually abused by the accused, a known acquaintance. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
Arrested on November 11th: Oscar Fernando TORRES SANDOVAL, 41, of the 7500 block of Whitehall Dr in Manassas
Charged with 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery and 2 counts of indecent liberties
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond
Armed Robbery – On November 16th at 2:45PM, police responded to the Sunoco located at 1260 Annapolis Way in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store and approached the counter. Once there, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The Man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the store. No injuries were reported. Officers quickly arrived in the area and established a perimeter. An officer located a man matching the description provided by the clerk in the area of Gordon Plz. The man was identified as the accused and was determined to have been the suspect involved in the robbery. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with robbery and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 17th at 5:19PM, police responded to the Ashdale Plz located at 2900 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) for a disorderly subject. Caller reported to police that there was possibly a fight at the location. Officers arrived and located 3 individuals, one of which was identified as the accused. The accused was placed under arrested and taken to a cruiser. While officers were dealing with the other individuals, the accused opened the door to the cruiser and attempted to flee. Officers quickly stopped the accused from fleeing, at which point, the accused kicked one of the officers in the knee. Minor injuries were reported.

Charged with assault and battery on LEO and resisting arrest

**INCIDENTS**
Abduction and Assault & Battery – On November 18th at 9:20AM, police responded to the Econo Lodge located at 13317 Gordon Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an abduction and assault involving an employee. The victim, a 39 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was cleaning one of the rooms when an unknown man walked inside the room and closed the door. At that point, the man grabbed the victim however, she was able to defend herself causing the suspect to flee. No injuries were reported. Surveillance video at the motel was provided to police which showed the suspect involved. This incident is not related to the attempted abduction reported on the 17th at the Roadway Inn.

Attempted Abduction – On November 17th at 8:27AM, police responded to the Roadway Inn located at 13964 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted abduction. The victim, a 46 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking her dog in the lot adjacent to the rear of the Roadway Inn when she was approached by an unknown man. The man grabbed the victim’s shoulder, however, she was able to pull away. At that point the man fled the area. No injuries were reported. No statements were made by the assailant. The victim was able to provide police with a description of the suspect which lead to the attached photo.

Hispanic male, between 30 & 35 years of age, 5’7”-5’8”, 175-180lbs with shoulder length, unkempt hair and unshaven face

Vehicle Pursuit | Hit & Run – On November 17th at 11:22PM, a Prince William County police officer stopped a vehicle in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for suspected DUI. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver accelerated away and fled. Officers pursued the vehicle onto Hillendale Dr. The driver continued to Dale Blvd where officers lost sight of the vehicle. Upon checking area streets, the vehicle was found unoccupied in the 13900 block of Gum Ln. The investigation also revealed that the drive struck a parked vehicle on Hillendale Dr while fleeing. The driver was not located.
Residential Burglary – On November 17th at 10:36PM, police responded to the 1200 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 7:50PM on November 15th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. No property was reported missing, however, several rooms were ransacked and a laptop computer was damaged.
Residential Burglary – On November 13th at 8:54AM, police responded to the 9800 block of Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:01AM and 5:00AM on November 8th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked rear door. A TV and laptop, valued around $2,000, were reported missing.
