PWC Police Beat 10/4/13

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On October 4th at 2:38AM, police responded to the 7-11 located at 12520 Gordon Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the business on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
White male, unknown age, 5’9”, 220lbs with a heavy build
Last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored jeans, and black ski mask

Residential Burglary – On October 2nd at 11:45AM, police responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Misty Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 11:00AM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Jewelry, an iPad, an iPhone, and laptop, total value around $14,000, were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Possession of a Firearm/Weapon on School Property – On October 3rd at 11:59AM, police responded to Pope John Paul the Great High School located at 17700 Dominican Dr in Dumfries (22026) for a weapons call. School staff reported to police that a student, identified as the accused, brought a handgun to school. The accused showed the handgun to another student who then alerted staff. The student was detained by school staff and the weapon was confiscated prior to police arrival. The accused was also found to have been in possession of a knife. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Joshua Matthew AGUILAR, 18, of 16205 Owl Eagle Ct in Woodbridge
Charged with possession of a firearm on school property and possession of a weapon [knife] on school property
