**INCIDENTS**
Crash – Fatality – On October 3rd at 12:02AM, the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 8800 block of Brentsville Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a single vehicle crash resulting in a fatality. The investigation revealed that a male driver, and only occupant, of a 2003 Lincoln Aviator was traveling northbound on Brentsville Rd when the driver lost control, left the roadway, and struck multiple trees. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of collision and was ejected from the vehicle. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved. At this point in the investigation, speed and alcohol are believed to be factors contributing to this crash.

The driver of the 2003 Lincoln Aviator has been identified as a Zachary Adam KITCHEN, 27, of Charles Town, WV
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On October 3rd at 1:22AM, police responded to the area of Madrigal Dr and Caloosa Way in Woodbridge (22193) for a shots fired call. The caller reported to police that she was on her deck when she observed an unknown sedan type vehicle driving near her residence. At one point, the passenger yelled something from the vehicle then fired multiple shots into the air before fleeing the area. No injuries or property damage were reported. The caller was unable to describe the passenger and could only describe the driver as a black male.
Vehicle Description:
Newer model, gray or white colored 4-door sedan, possibly a Lexus or Audi
Commercial Burglary – On October 3rd at 12:38AM, police responded to the Macy’s Department Store located at Manassas Mall, 8270 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) for an alarm. Officers arrived at the location and discovered that one of the glass door entrances to the mall was broken out. Officers and police K-9s checked the business however no suspects were located. Clothing valued around $1,400 was reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On September 30th at 9:21AM, police responded to Coleman Power Sports located at 14105 Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime around 3:30AM. Entry appeared to have been made onto the property through a fence which was found damaged. A 4-wheeler, valued around $14,400, was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Narcotics Investigation – On August 21st, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving heroin with the below arrests which were made following a traffic stop conducted in the area of Lake Jackson Dr and Waller Dr in Manassas (20111). Both arrests were made without incident. During a search, heroin and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were located. These arrests were previously held for investigative purposes.

Larry Durrell LOMAX, 30, of 14208 Fallbrook Ln in Woodbridge
Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I/II narcotic and distribution of a schedule I/II narcotic
Joshua Allen SIMMONS, 25, of 12815 Dusty Willow Dr in Manassas
Charged with possession of a schedule I/II narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstruction of justice
