INCIDENT REPORTS
Attempted Strong Armed Robbery
On Oct. 28 at 8:20 p.m., police responded to the area of Golansky Blvd. and Smoketown Road in Woodbridge for an attempted robbery that was reported to have occurred Oct. 24. The male victim, 16 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the area above when he was approached by an unknown man around 10:45 p.m. who demanded the victim’s money and property. When the victim resisted, a struggle ensued. The victim was able to get away and contact police. The assailant fled the area prior to police arrival and was not located. Minor injuries reported. Lookout: Black male, between 20 & 30, 5’08”, medium build.

ARRESTS
Sexual Battery
On Oct. 27, police began an investigation into a sexual battery that was reported to have occurred in the 10100 block of Irongate Way in Manassas. The investigation revealed that in 2003 the female victim, 6 at the time, was sexually assault by the accused, a known acquaintance. The accused was arrested and charged. Arrested: Jose Felix Delcid Cedillos, 52, of the 10100 block of Irongate Way in Manassas. Charged with aggravated sexual battery, taking indecent liberties with a child and object sexual penetration. Court date unavailable, held without bond.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary
On Oct. 30 at 9:21 a.m., police responded to the VRE Woodbridge Lot at 1040 Express Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. The burglary is believed to have occurred between 1 p.m. Oct. 29 and 9 p.m. Oct. 30. Entry appeared to have been made into the baggage area of the terminal through a window that had been broken out. The Coffee Club Café within the terminal was also damaged. Total amount of damage was estimated around $1,600. No items were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Oct 29 at 11:17 a.m., police responded to the 1300 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. Oct. 25 and 9 a.m. Oct. 29. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A TV valued around $1,000 and miscellaneous clothing items were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Oct. 28 at 7:45 p.m., police responded to the 12100 block of Sierra Sunset Lane in Gainesville for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between an unknown time Oct. 26 and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 28. Entry appeared to have been made through an opened garage door. A dirt bike valued around $750 was reported missing. 

Burglary
On Oct. 28 at 6:29 p.m., police responded to the 14800 block of Cartagena Dr. in Gainesville for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear basement door that had been pried opened. Jewelry valued around $1,300 was reported missing. 

Burglary
On Oct. 28 at 1:40 p.m., police responded to the 10200block of Copeland Dr in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:30 and 1:40 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a garage door that had been forced opened. No items were reported missing, however, damage was estimated around $1,000. 

Attempted Burglary
On Oct. 30 at 8:45 p.m., police responded to the 15900 block of Cove Lane in Dumfries for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between noon and 3:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through the front door which was found to be ajar. No entry is believed to have been made and no items were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary
On Oct. 29 at 8:23 p.m., police responded to the 3200 block of Gina Place in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that around 8:20 p.m., he was in his living room when he heard a loud noise coming from the basement. It appeared someone had forcibly kicked open the rear basement door. No entry was made and made and no items were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary
On Oct. 28 at 5:30 p.m., police responded to the 13900 block of Hollow Wind Way in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary, which was reported to have occurred on Oct. 27 at 10:45 p.m. Homeowner reported to police that he was inside the residence when he heard footsteps coming from the hallway. Upon investigating the noise, the homeowner heard someone fun from the residence. Entry appeared to have made through an unsecured front door. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. No items were reported missing.
