Malicious Wounding ARREST – On October 26th, the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force located and apprehended the accused in Maryland in regard to the malicious wounding which was reported in the 2500 block of Chadwick Ct in Woodbridge on October 24th. The accused was arrested without incident and is currently awaiting extradition back to Virginia.
Arrested on October 26th: Kiajual Barshawn DUNLAP, 28, of 4503 Akron St in Temple Hills, MD
Charged with malicious wounding
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond

Malicious Wounding (Previously Released) – On October 24th at 4:49PM, police responded to the 2500 block of Chadwick Ct in Woodbridge (22192) for a domestic. The victim, a 28 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim resulting in a struggle. While the two were struggling, the accused attempted to grab a handgun. The encounter continued into the parking lot where witnesses were able to break up the fight. At that point, the accused fled the area. The victim sustained injuries to her upper body. Following the investigation, a warrant was obtained against the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Malicious Wounding – On October 28th at 1:07AM, police responded to the 10200 block of Winchester Ct Manassas (20109) for a fight. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 36 year old man of Manassas, was in the area above when he was approached by an unknown man. The two engaged in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the man struck the victim in the face with a beer bottle causing a severe laceration. Following the altercation, the victim returned to his residence nearby where police located him. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.

Hispanic male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’5” / 150lbs, medium build with blonde hair and brown eyes

Attempted Malicious Wounding – On October 28th at 2:13PM, police responded to the 12700 block of Colby Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a reported dog attack. The victim, an 18 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by an unknown man walking his dog (possibly a pitbull). The man began to argue with the victim then unhooked his dog. At that point, the dog began to chase the victim to the playground area nearby. The dog attempted to bite the victim several times but was not able to do so. A struggle ensued between the victim and dog which eventually ran back to the owner. The victim did have minor scratches, no major injuries.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On October 26th at 2:30PM, police responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy and York Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a shots fired call. The victim, a 45 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was attempting to make a U-turn in the area above when a driver of a black sedan pulled up next to her vehicle and displayed a handgun. The victim further reported that she heard a loud pop noise and believed the other driver had fired the gun toward her vehicle before fleeing the area. The vehicle was not struck and no injuries were reported. The victim was only able to describe the other driver was a white male.

Armed Robbery – On October 29th at 12:44PM, police responded to the 4300 block of Whitmer Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. The victim, a 49 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by an unknown man. The man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.

Strong Armed Robbery – On October 26th at 9:17PM, police responded to the 3200 block of Berlin Ct in Woodbridge (22493) for a robbery. The victim, a 30 year old man, reported to police that he was sitting in his vehicle in the above area waiting on a friend when he was approached by 3 unknown men. The men assaulted the victim and took his cell phone before fleeing the area. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Residential Burglary – On October 27th at 11:53PM, police responded to the 1500 block of Tyler Cir in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM and 10:30PM. Entry appeared to have been made through the front door which had been forced open. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 27th at 11:00AM, police responded to the 7800 block of Mclean St in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:00PM on September 27th and 10:30Am on October 27th. Entry appeared to have been made through the front door which had been forced open. No property was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On October 26th at 11:01AM, police responded to the Dale City Sports Club located at 14730-A Birchdale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on October 24th and 10:50AM on October 26th. Entry appeared to have been made through a side door which had been forced open. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 26th at 2:15PM, police responded to the 12300 block of Antietam Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that she received a call from a neighbor that an unknown person was seem in her backyard around 11:00AM. The homeowner returned home and discovered scuff marks on a rear window. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing. 

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On October 28th at 3:46AM, police responded to the 18500 block of Triangle St in Triangle (22172) for an assault. The victim, a 60 year old man of Triangle, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim with a large knife causing a severe laceration to his forehead. Following the altercation, the victim was able to go a neighboring residence and contact police. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charge with malicious wounding
Court date set for December 7, 2012, held WITHOUT bond

Filing a False Police Report – On October 28th at 8:29PM, police responded to the 12000 block of Winona Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a stolen vehicle report. The victim, later determined to be the accused, had initially reported to police that she was at Potomac Mills Mall shopping and upon returning to her vehicle, which had been parked in the parking lot, she discovered her it was missing. The accused was able to get a ride back to her residence where police were called. Upon further questioning, several inconsistencies were discovered in the incident. Officers were able to determine that the accused had lied about the incident and that her vehicle had not been stolen. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
