PWC Police ask public’s help in second homicide investigation

Homicide Investigation – On January 17th at 3:26AM, police responded to the 17600 block of Washington St in Dumfries (22026) for a shooting. Caller reported to police that gunshots were heard at an address in the above area. Officers arrived and discovered the victim, an adult female, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Rescue personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The investigation continues, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, Prince William County Police spokesman.

Prince William Police are also seeking the public’s help in connection with an 11:03PM call on Jan. 15 to the 15000 block of Cardin Pl in Woodbridge (22193) for an unresponsive male after a caller reported to police that he walked outside and discovered an unknown male lying in the street in front of his residence. A reward is also being offered in this case.
