PWC police ask for community’s help in Feb. 7 homicide case
Homicide Investigation – On Sunday, Feb. 7 at 6:18PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 17100 block of Shell Cast Lp in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an initial 9-1-1 hang-up. When officers arrived, they located an unresponsive man inside a vehicle. The man was determined to have sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sgt. Jonathan Perok said in a statement that detectives from the police department’s Homicide Unit are actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting and are seeking to speak with anyone who has information as to what occurred. No arrest has been made in this incident. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.

The deceased was identified as Dominick Anthony Nicholas MOYE, 20, of Dumfries
