PWC Police arrest two in separate incidents involving knives

**ARRESTS**

Aggravated Malicious Wounding – On August 2 at 11:36PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15200 block of Streamside Ct in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 30-year-old man, and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in an altercation inside the home. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times to the upper body. Officers detained the accused and provided preliminary first aid to the victim who was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries where he is expected to survive. While investigating the incident, signs of narcotics use were observed by responding officers. A search warrant was obtained and subsequently executed at the home. As a result of the search, marijuana heroin, cocaine, prescription medications, a firearm, U.S. Currency and items consistent with narcotics distribution were recovered. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Sean Kyle IRWIN, was arrested.

Abduction | Assault by Threat of Bodily Harm – On August 2 at 8:02PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 18100 block of Purvis Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 21-year-old woman, and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and cornered the victim in the kitchen. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jose Adrian MORALES, was arrested.
