PWC police and fire officials investigating fire death in Quantico
Death Investigation – On August 20th at 7:20AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 200 block of Broadway St in the Town of Quantico (22134) to assist the Department of Fire and Rescue with a house fire.
Upon searching the home, fire crews located 1 occupant deceased. Other occupants were also rescued from the residence and were treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.
Currently, this incident is being jointly investigated by the Prince William County Police Homicide Unit and the Department of Fire and Rescue’s Fire Marshals’ Office.
The identity of the deceased will be released once confirmed and next of kin notified. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
