The location for the Prince William County Planning Commission meetings scheduled for Aug. 25 and Sept. 1 have been moved from the board chambers at McCoart Center off Prince William Parkway between Lake Ridge and Dale City to the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building auditorium off Rt. 1 in Woodbridge. Neither remote nor virtual Public Comment will be available, “due to off-site limitations,” according to a county news release.
The reason for the move, stated the county news release, is due to work in progress, that has closed the Board Chambers Aug. 5 to Sept. 6. No description of the work was provided.
The Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building auditorium is located at 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Woodbridge VA 22191. This venue “allows for seating and social distancing of all attendees,” according to the news release.
The news release said people who want to make public comment on a Planning Commission item must attend the meeting at the Ferlazzo Building in person or submit comments via email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
The news release went on to say that comments should be submitted before the scheduled Planning Commission hearing date. Public comment emails will be forwarded to all Planning Commission members, the release stated.
