PWC Fire & Rescue places additional charges in house fire-stabbing incident

On Thursday, July 27th at 4:24 p.m., Prince William County fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a single family home located in the 1300 block of East Longview Drive in Woodbridge.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered Prince William County police officers on scene attending to a woman suffering from stab wounds while additional officers tended to the alleged assailant. As firefighters prepared to make entry into the home, engulfed in smoke, they were informed that police officers had entered the home in search of two small children reported still inside; a second alarm was sounded.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. Soon after, firefighters and officers learned the children were safely at a neighbor’s residence and were unharmed.

Prince William County Fire Marshal’s Office completed an investigation into the Origin and Cause of the fire and made the subsequent arrest of the suspect already being held on the malicious wounding charges placed by police.

Arrested on July 28:
Noel Antonio QUINTEROS-RAMIREZ, 30, of the 1300 block of East Longview Drive in Woodbridge.
Charged with ยค 18.2-77. Burning or destroying dwelling house, etc. (Felony)
Court Date: September 5, 2017 Bond: Held WITHOUT bond
Prince William County Police and the Fire Marshal’s Office are jointly investigating this incident.
