PWC eighth grader wins national STEM competition

Eleanor Wren Sigrest, and eighth grader at Benton Middle School in Manassas won the Broadcom MASTERS, a national middle school STEM competition, and a $25,000 prize for STEM Leadership and Innovation, according to a news release from Prince William County Schools.
Sigrest’s research “contributed to the engineering knowledge on cold gas rockets,” the news release said.
