PW Police seek suspects in connection with domestic and sexual assaults

**INCIDENTS**

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On June 28 at 11:00PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which occurred at a residence located in the 14700 block of Dodson Dr in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that evening. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 25-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s neck and choked her. The parties eventually separated and the victim left the residence then contacted police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused, identified as Marcus Dewayne HENRY.  Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Sexual Assault Investigation – On December 25 of 2016, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at a home in Woodbridge (22192). The investigation revealed the victim, then a 14-year-old female juvenile, was involved in an inappropriate relationship with a 24-year-old man, an acquaintance. On June 14, detectives were able to identify the man as Mario Alejandro CARTAGENA CARBAJAL and subsequently obtained warrants for his arrest. Attempts to located the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a Hispanic male, 5’11”, 165lbs, with a thin build, black hair, and brown eyes
Wanted for carnal knowledge and indecent liberties with a minor
