PW Police place 10 charges against suspect in July robbery / carjacking incident

Armed Robbery | Carjacking *ARREST – On August 10th, officers located and arrested the suspect, Thurman Terrill WEATHERS, involved in the robbery and carjacking which was reported to have occurred in the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr in Triangle on July 23rd without further incident.

Arrested on August 10th:
Thurman Terrill WEATHERS, 33, 4212 Eldorado Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with 1 count of carjacking, 1 count of robbery, 1 count of grand larceny, 2 counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, 3 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon , 1 count of conspiracy to possess a scheduled I or II narcotic with intent to distribute , and 1 count of possession of a firearm while in possession of certain substances

Armed Robbery | Carjacking [Previously Released]  – On July 23rd at 12:56PM, officers responded to the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a carjacking. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 33 year old woman of Woodbridge, was contacted by the accused, a known acquaintance, who requested a ride. The victim drove the accused to the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr. Once there, the accused exited the vehicle and walked a short distance from the vehicle. When he returned, the accused displayed a handgun at the victim demanding her cell phone and to exit the vehicle. The accused took the victim’s vehicle and fled the area. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.
