**INCIDENTS**
Joint Death Investigation | Fire related - On October 8th at 3:22AM, police responded to the 18700 block of Fuller Heights Rd in Triangle (22172) to assist the Prince William County VA Department of Fire and Rescue with a trailer fire. Once the fire was extinguished, fire and rescue crews discovered three victims inside the trailer.
According to the police report, all three victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of their deaths is still under investigation. At this point, the victims are believed to be adults. Further information about the victims, including their genders and ages, is currently unknown. A positive identification will need to be made before the victims’ identities are released, police said. The bodies of the victims were to be transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
This is currently a joint investigation with the Fire Marshal’s Office looking into the cause of the fire and the police department investigating the deaths. The investigation continues.
Residential Burglary – On October 7th at 8:59PM, police responded to a residence located in the 3100 block of Harvard St in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 2:30PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the home. Jewelry and other items, total value around $13,400, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 7th at 8:19PM, police responded to an apartment located in the 15100 block of Bannon Way in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00PM and 8:19PM. Entry was made into the residence through the front door which was forced open. No property was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 6th at 12:57PM, police responded to an apartment located in the 1800 block of Sugar Hill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. The residence of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM on September 22nd and 7:30PM on October 2nd. Entry was made into an attached exterior storage room through a door which had been pried open. A handgun and other property, total value around $6,300, were reported missing.
