Malicious Wounding | Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – The second suspect involved in the shooting incident which was reported to have occurred in the 13100 block of Hillendale Dr in Woodbridge on February 3rd has been identified as Frank HOWELL. Detectives from the Robbery Unit have since obtained warrants for the arrest of this individual. The first suspect, identified as Antwain MOREHEAD, was previously arrested on February 4th and remains in custody.

Described as a black male, 5’7”, 135lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for malicious wounding, robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony
Malicious Wounding | Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On February 3rd at 6:06PM, officers responded to the 13100 block of Hillendale Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. The victim, a 19 year old man of Alexandria, reported to police that he made arrangements to purchase marijuana in the above area from a man later identified as the accused. Once in the area, the accused was accompanied by another man who was not known to victim. During the encounter, the victim’s phone was taken. When the victim attempted to get his phone back, he was shot by one of the men. After the shooting, the suspects fled in a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his upper body. Following the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. The suspect was located and arrested without incident at his place of employment on February 4th. Detectives are continuing the investigation to identify the second man involved in the incident.
UPDATE - Strangulation | Domestic Assault and Battery – On February 9th, the suspect involved in the domestic assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence in the 4400 block of Worchester Dr in Woodbridge on February 7th was arrested.

Strangulation | Domestic Assault and Battery [Previously Released] – On February 7th at 2:35AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4400 block of Worchester Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 25 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported that she was involved in a verbal argument with the accused, a known acquaintance. During the altercation, the suspect assaulted and at one point, choked the victim. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving at the home. There were minor injuries reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.
**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On February 10th at 7:53PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 3400 block of Belleplain Ct in Dumfries (22026) around 7:00PM. The victim, a 30 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was delivering a pizza to a home in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, the men assaulted the victim before displaying handguns and demanding money. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before fleeing on foot. The victim returned to his place of employment and notified his boss who contacted police. Minor injuries were reported. The victim was not able to provide a description of the assailants to police.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On February 10th at 3:05PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7800 block of Powhatan St in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that between 1:10PM and 2:45PM, entry was attempted into the residence through an unsecured front window which was found open. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Strong Armed Robbery | Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On February 10th at 4:39PM, officers responded to the Westgate Plaza Shopping Center located the in the 8000 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a disorderly call. Several business owners reported to police that a man was acting disorderly and causing problems in the shopping center. When officers arrived, the encounter a victim, a 61 year old man of Manassas, who reported that a man, similar to the suspect in the previous incidents, attempt to forcibly take his phone which led to a struggle. During the encounter, the accused broke the victim’s phone and fled on foot. Officers located the man, identified as the accused, on Sudley Rd and detained him. The accused would not cooperate with officers once arrested. Once at the Adult Detention Center, the accused continued to act disorderly and, at one point, he head-butted one of the officers in the chest. No injuries were reported.
