PW Police arrest four in missing firearms case

Grand Larceny of Firearms – On July 24th, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit responded to a residence in the 8800 block of Rixlew Ln in Manassas (20109) after patrol officers had responded and recovered three stolen firearms.

A family member of one of the accused suspects, a 17 year old male of Manassas, found the firearms and contacted police. During the investigation, three other suspects were identified and two additional stolen firearms being recovered. The firearms were reported stolen on July 7th from a vehicle parked in the 9900 block of Shallow Creek Lp in Manassas. Following the investigation, all four suspects were arrested.

Wanted Person Arrest | Narcotics Investigation – On July 24th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit observed the accused, who was known to be wanted, sitting in a vehicle in the 15800 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191). Detectives were able to approach the vehicle and detain the accused, identified as MURPHY, without incident. A search of vehicle resulted in the recovery of suspected marijuana, cocaine, Percocet, MDMA, a handgun, evidence of distribution and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. The driver of the vehicle was also found to be in possession of marijuana and was subsequently arrested as well.

Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm with narcotics

Filing a False Police Report – On July 24th, Crash Unit investigators obtained charges in connection to a felony hit and run crash which was reported in the area of Walnut St and Colchester Rd in Woodbridge on July 15th. Through the investigation, investigators learned that the victim, identified as GUEVARA, intentionally jumped onto the hood of a vehicle being driven by his friend, ARROYO ALEAGA. During the incident, the GUEVARA fell from the vehicle and was subsequently run over. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he then reported to police that a black Impala, driven by an unknown man, had struck him and fled. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against both the victim and his friend. The accused, ARROYO ALEAGA, has since been arrested and an active warrant remains on file for the victim, now the accused, GUEVARA.

Hit & Run Investigation [Previously Released] – On July 15th at 10:12PM, police responded to investigate a hit and run which was reported to have occurred in the area of Walnut St and Colchester Rd in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, a 21 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and a friend were walking along the side of the road in the area above when a vehicle, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck him. After striking the vehicle, the victim reported that he was dragged about 15 feet before the suspect vehicle stopped. The driver then put the vehicle in reverse and drove around the victim. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and proceeded through a red light at Colchester Rd and Featherstone Rd. Neither the victim nor his friend were unable to see the driver because the vehicle had dark tinted windows. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle is likely to have damage to the front right side and/or grill area.
Vehicle Description:
Black, newer model, 4-door Chevrolet sedan, possibly an Impala model
Vehicle reportedly had dark tinted windows and a tinted, smoked colored license plate cover


**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding – On July 25th at 1:34AM, police responded to the K2 Restaurant & Lounge located at 14633 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) for a stabbing. The investigation revealed that a fight broke out inside the bar area of the restaurant. The victim, a 24 year old man of Woodbridge, and the suspect, an unknown man, were involved in the physical altercation along with other patrons. During the encounter, the unknown man allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim to his lower body. A security guard, a 49 year old man of Manassas, attempted to intervene and was also stabbed to his abdomen. The male assailant left the restaurant prior to police arrival. Both victims were transported to an area hospital, both with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation continues.

Black male, between 30 and 35 years of age, 6’2”, 170lbs with a thin build, short hair and a dark complexion

Armed Robbery – On July 25th at 2:27AM, police responded to the 2800 block of Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. The victim, a 29 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she works for Domino’s Pizza and was dropping the night receipts at the Wells Fargo Bank in the above area when she was approached by an unknown man. The man displayed a knife and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and fled into the wooded area nearby. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used in the search for the suspect.

Black male, between 25 & 30 years of age, 5’9”, 180lbs with a medium build, brown hair, brown eyes, and a beard
