The public is invited to participate in a Community Dialogue on public middle school facilities in Fauquier County with a special focus on Taylor and Warrenton Middle Schools. The Community Dialogue will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Fauquier High School cafeteria in Warrenton.
While the interactive community discussion will center on the two oldest of the five public middle schools in Fauquier County, the dialogue will also involve how any plan might impact other middle schools in the division.
This event is open to all who are interested in Fauquier County’s middle school modernization plans – parents and guardians, faculty and staff, students, community members and local business employees.
Members of the Middle School Modernization Advisory Committee will participate in the Community Dialogue as groundwork toward its charge to recommend a middle school modernization plan, specifically whether Taylor or Warrenton should be the first one modernized. The 44-member committee includes parents, teachers, administrative staff, students and community members.
The Community Dialogue on Sept. 7 will provide a forum for anyone in the community to share his or her own ideas and concerns, through questionnaires and small-group discussion, regarding public middle school modernization in Fauquier County.
See http://www.fcps1.org/msp for additional details. A web survey will be available after the Community Dialogue. For more information call 540-422-7008 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
