Prince William police investigating homicide in Dumfries
Homicide Investigation- On May 3rd at 1:03AM, officers responded to the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located the victim, an adult male, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation continues and additional information will be released once it is made available, according to a news release from Off.Steven R. Mattos Jr., police department spokesman.
