Armed Robbery | Residential Burglary *ARREST – On December 26th, one of the suspects involved in the robbery which occurred in the 16900 block of Porters Inn Dr in Dumfries on September 13th was arrested. During the investigation into this incident, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified and obtained warrants against that suspect, D’Quinta Hill, on October 1st. This suspect had been actively sought for several months.

Charged with robbery, abduction, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a felon and burglary

Armed Robbery | Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On September 13th at 12:56AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16900 block of Porters Inn Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 24 year old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that two unknown men forcibly entered her home in the above area. Once inside the home, the men displayed handguns and demanded money. The men took a laptop before fleeing the residence. No injuries were reported. The men are believed to have followed the victim to her home after she had walked her dog in the neighborhood. On October 1st, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify one of the suspects involved in the robbery. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against that suspect, identified as D’Quinta Hill. Multiple attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues in an attempt to locate the accused and to identify the remaining suspect involved in the incident.
Unlawful Wounding *ARREST – On December 24th, officers received information that the suspect involved in the assault which occurred at the Exxon Service Station located at 14451 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on December 20th was at Potomac Mills Mall. Officers responded to the mall and identified the man as the accused. Following the investigation, the accused was positively identified as the suspect involved in the assault. On December 27th, officers arrested the accused without further incident.

Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On December 20th at 8:25AM, officers responded to the Exxon Service Station located at 14451 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 52 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was getting gas at one of the pumps when he was approached by an unknown man. The man became agitated and began assaulting the victim. After the assault, the suspect fled the area in a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a significant head injury. The investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding | Attempted Armed Robbery – On December 27th at 6:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Harborview Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 50 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man demanded the victim’s money. When the victim refused, the man stabbed the victim in the stomach before fleeing on foot. No money was taken. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Malicious Wounding | Attempted Armed Robbery – On December 26th at 11:30PM, officers responded to investigate an attempted robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of Dawson Beach Rd and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) around 10:30PM. The victim, a 27 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, the men demanded the victim’s wallet. When the victim refused, he was struck in the shoulder before the men fled on foot. The victim’s wallet was not taken. Shortly after the incident, the victim realized the injury to his shoulder was a minor stab wound and went to an area hospital for treatment where police were contacted.

2nd suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and white pants
Malicious Wounding – On December 26th at 1:54AM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred in the parking lot of the TGI Fridays located at 13237 Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22192). The victim, a 27 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that at around 12:45AM, he was waiting for a ride in the parking lot when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, one of the men pulled out a knife and began swinging towards the victim. At one point, the victim attempted to grab the knife and subsequently sustained a minor cut to the hand. The victim went to an area hospital where police were contacted. The victim was only able to describe the suspect armed with the knife.

Malicious Wounding – On December 25th at 2:08PM, officers responded to the 4800 block of Kirkdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. Several callers reported to police that a fight was taking place in the area above. Officers arrived and located the victim, identified as a 30 year old man of Woodbridge. The victim reported that he was approached by a group of men and was assaulted by one of those men over an ongoing dispute. The suspects fled prior to police arriving in the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. This incident was not random.
Residential Burglary – On December 26th at 5:55PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8200 block of Roxborough Lp in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00PM on December 25th and 6:00PM on December 26th. Upon checking the home, officers noted a broken kitchen window, a shattered kitchen glass door and a broken out basement level glass door. A MacBook, jewelry, a handgun and other property were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 28th at 10:47PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5700 block of Spriggs Meadow Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that at around 9:30PM, he was walking his dog in the neighborhood when he observed an unknown man walk up his driveway and enter his garage through an open door. The homeowner yelled towards the man who then immediately fled on foot. No property was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 25th at 11:08PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 16900 block of Porters Inn Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary in progress. The resident of the apartment reported to police that she heard a loud noise coming from her front door. When the resident looked through the peep hole, she observed the accused, a known acquaintance. At one point, the accused began kicking the door in an attempt to enter the residence. No entry was made and the accused left prior to police arriving in the area. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused.
