Incidents
Possession of a Firearm on School Property –
On Nov. 16, 2021 at 8:51AM, a School Resource Officer (SRO) was informed by school security at Hampton Middle School, located at 14800 Darbydale Ave. in Woodbridge (22193), that a student was in possession of a weapon on school property. School security notified the SRO that upon receiving the information, an unloaded firearm was located in the locker of a student, a 12-year-old boy. While the SRO was investigating, a BB gun was located in the locker of another student, an 11-year-old boy.
Neither weapon was ever brandished towards other students or part of any active threat. The SRO took possession of both weapons, and the boys were released to family members. On Nov. 17, following the investigation, the SRO obtained petitions for the 12-year-old boy who was in possession of the real firearm. The case will be handled by juvenile court services.

Armed Robbery – On Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at 1:19AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 7489 Limestone Dr. in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown masked man entered the store and immediately approached the employee who was located behind the service counter. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money from the cash registers. The suspect then forced the clerk into a room in the rear of the business before fleeing out the back door. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Malicious Wounding – On Sunday, Nov. 14, 2921 at 9:50PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to a residence located in the 8100 block of Oak St. in Manassas (20111) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that a 48-year-old male resident of the home and another resident of the home, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused struck the male resident. During the encounter, the victim, identified as a 40-year-old male acquaintance, intervened, and was struck by the accused. A physical altercation ensued between the victim and the accused, during which the accused bit the victim’s finger. Eventually, the parties separated, and the accused fled prior to police arriving at the residence. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries
and the male resident reported minor injuries.
Following the investigation, on November 15, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Alexis Eliseo GONZALEZ MOLINA, who was arrested later that day by members of the Manassas Park Police Department.

Attempted Malicious Wounding – On Nov. 2, 2021 at 6:05PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 8000 block of Knightshayes Dr. in Manassas (20111) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that a resident of the home and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in an altercation outside of the residence. During the encounter, another resident of the home, identified as a 41-year-old man, attempted to intervene and the parties eventually separated. After separating, the accused got into a vehicle and drove towards the male resident who was able to jump out of the way to avoid being struck before the accused drove off. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Tanajah Imani BROWN. Initial attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful. On Nov. 15, the accused was located in the Woodbridge area and taken into custody without incident.
