Prince William County Police News Summary for Monday, Dec. 13, 2021

• Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 at 8:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 7800 block of Meadow Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting. Residents reported to police that multiple gunshots were heard before two men fled.

The investigation revealed that two masked men fired multiple rounds in front of the residence before fleeing in a white sedan that was being
driven by a third individual. The home was struck multiple times. No injuries or additional property damage were reported. Shell casings were also located in front of the residence. The only suspect description available at this time is two Hispanic males dressed in all black clothing.

• Commercial Burglary – On Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 at 7:09AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Super Selecto Grocery located at 4112 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. Upon arriving at the business, an employee reported to police that they observed the front door unsecured.

Video surveillance footage revealed that at approximately 1:55AM, entry was made into the business through the ventilation system on the roof. The suspect was seen walking and crawling throughout the business. The investigation revealed that while inside the store, the suspect forced entry into the office area through a side wall which was found damaged. Phone cards and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing.

An unknown race male, wearing a baseball-style cap backwards, and light-colored clothing

• Attempted Sexual Assault – On Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 at 9:40AM, officers responded to the 4300 block of Glendale Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) for an unconscious man. A witness reported to police that an unknown man appeared to sexually assault another individual, later identified as a 59-year-old man while the two were in a wooded area behind a residence.

The suspect then appeared to go through the victim’s pockets before leaving the area on foot. Rescue responded and determined the victim was unconscious and transported him to an area hospital. At this time it is unknown if the suspect took any of the victim’s property. The investigation continues.

Suspect Description:
A light-skinned male, wearing a black/white baseball-style cap, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with an image on the front, light-colored pants, and white sneakers.

• Armed Robbery – On Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 at 12:23AM, officers responded to the 12700 block of Black Forest Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 32-year-old man, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal altercation with two unknown men that escalated while in the parking lot of the above location.

The investigation revealed that the altercation began inside a nearby business before continuing to the above area. During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a firearm before physically striking the victim. The suspects took the victim’s shoes before fleeing on foot. At no point during the encounter were shots fired. The victim declined medical assistance for apparent facial injuries.

Both suspects were described as white males, approximately 6’3”, with neck and hand tattoos
