Prince William County Police Beat Sept. 28, 2015

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On September 27th at 1:09AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3000 block of Fox Lair Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault.

The victim, a 15 year old female juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.

During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the throat before pushing her against a wall and then onto the floor. Once on the ground, the accused struck the victim in the back.

The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
