Incidents and arrests reported by Prince William County Police Department on Thursday, September 15, 2016.

**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding – On September 14 at 11:13AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16200 block of Cypress Ct in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 19-year-old woman of Fredericksburg, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument which escalated. During the encounter, the accused brandished a handgun and struck her in the face causing a laceration. The accused fled prior to officers arriving in the area. A police K-9 was used to search for the accused who was not located. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.

Strong Armed Robbery – On September 13 at 7:12PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of Old Bridge Rd and Harbor Dr in Woodbridge (22192) on September 9 around 9:30PM. The victim, a 19-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was waiting for a ride in the above area when he was approached by three unknown men. During the encounter, the men began assaulting the victim, knocking him to the ground. Once on the ground, the men took the victim’s shoes before fleeing on foot. The victim was treated at an area hospital and upon release, reported the incident to police.
Suspect Descriptions:
All three suspects were described as Hispanic males, late teens or 20s, short with thin builds

Residential Burglary – On September 14 at 9:36PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16200 block of Owl Eagle Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:00PM and 8:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured garage door. Two laptops were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On September 14 at 9:14PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3200 block of Ridge View Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:45AM and 9:15PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a window. Two purses and a watch were reported missing.

Residential Burglaries – On September 14, officers responded to the Windsor Park Apartments located in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate multiple burglaries. The residents of three apartments reported to police that entry was made into their residences sometime during the day. In one of the incidents, a resident of an apartment located in the 3900 block of Penshurst Ln reported to police that an unknown man was witnessed attempting to enter their residence through a bedroom window. No entry was made and no property was reported missing. The suspect fled on foot. In the two other incidents at the complex, both reported in the 4000 block of Farrington Ct, the residents reported to police that entry was made through a window after the screens were removed. Jewelry, an iPad, a gaming console, and other miscellaneous property were reported missing.

Black male, between 15 & 17 years of age, 5’8”, 150lbs with a thin build and short black hair

Residential Burglary – On September 14 at 8:36PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM on September 6 and 6:00PM on September 9. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. No property was reported missing. Interior damage was discovered.

Residential Burglary – On September 14 at 4:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13100 block of Flynn Ct in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 4:15PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. A laptop and firearm were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On September 14 at 12:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7800 block of Tayloe Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM on September 10 and 7:30AM on September 12. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Medications were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 14 at 10:07PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11800 block of Waterside Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 8:30AM and 8:00PM, entry was attempted into the residence through a living room which was found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Abduction | Domestic Related – On September 13 at 11:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3100 block of Arrowhead Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic disturbance. The victim, a 36-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument which escalated. During the encounter, the accused prevented the victim from leaving the room and, at one point, held her in a bathroom. The victim screamed which prompted neighbors to contact police. Officers arrived and, upon hearing additional screaming, forced entry into the home finding the victim in the bathroom. The victim was not injured. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.
