**INCIDENTS**

Homicide Investigation – On November 1st at 7:48AM, officers responded to the 15200 block of Brazil Cir in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a death. The caller reported to police that he was walking his dog when he observed an unknown man lying on the front steps of a townhouse in the area above. Officers arrived at that residence and found the man suffering from a stab wound to his body and requested rescue assistance. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives from the Homicide Unit were able to identify the victim as a 48 year old man of no fixed address. There is currently no connection to the victim and the residence where he was located. At this point in the investigation, detectives do not believe this was a random incident. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues. This is Prince William County’s 7th homicide of 2015.

Malicious Wounding – On November 1st at 5:38AM, officers responded to the 18000 block of Main St in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 22 year old man old Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was assaulted from behind by three unknown men. During the encounter, the victim was struck in the face by an unknown object causing a significant laceration to his mouth. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 
Suspect Descriptions:
Black males, between 20 & 28 years of age
Last seen wearing dark colored hoodies and blue jeans – No further descriptions provided

Malicious Wounding – On November 1st at 4:00AM, officers responded to the area of Occoquan Rd and F St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 54 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, the men assaulted him. At one point, he was cut in the forearm by an unknown sharp object. The object was believed to be a knife but was not seen by the victim. No property was demanded by the men or taken during the incident. Minor injuries were reported. The victim was unable to describe the suspects.

Malicious Wounding – On November 1st at 1:55AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4800 block of Kempair Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 30 year old man of Augusta WV, reported to police that he was working as a bouncer for a house party at a residence in the above area when he attempted to escort a disorderly person from home. During the encounter, the victim was struck from behind in the head multiple times with a glass bottle by an unknown person. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The victim was unable to describe the assailant.

Malicious Wounding – On October 31st at 8:37PM, officers responded to the 13200 block of Armstead St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight in progress. The victim, a 22 year old man old Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was assaulted by four unknown men. During the encounter, the victim was struck with a bat knocking him to the ground. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The victim was unable to describe the suspects.

Malicious Wounding – On October 31st at 6:10PM, officers responded to the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a stabbing. Upon investigation, it was determined that the victim, a 17 year old male juvenile of Dumfries, was walking in the area of River Ridge Blvd and Jefferson Davis Hwy when he was approached by five unknown males. The parties were then involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the victim was assaulted by two of the males then stabbed with a knife in the abdomen. The victim ran from the suspects and collapsed in the area of Chesapeake Dr. The suspects fled the area on foot.  The victim was flown to an area hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. Officers, including a police K9, checked the surrounding area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

Black male, between 16 & 17 years of age, 5’8”, 160lbs
Last seen wearing a tan jacket, grey shirt and a white mask

Three black males and one Hispanic male, between 16 & 17 years of age

Armed Robbery | Attempted Armed Robbery – On October 30th at 11:15PM, officers responded to the 14400 block of Filarete St in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 62 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was approached by an unknown man who brandished a firearm then demanded money from the victim.  During the encounter, the suspect took the victim’s wallet then fled in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported. While working the above robbery, officers were approached by a second victim, a 53 year old woman of Woodbridge, who reported to police that she was in the area of the 4100 block of Ferrara Tr when she was approached by the same unknown man. The suspect brandished a firearm then demanded money from the victim.  The victim was able to scare off the suspect who fled on foot in an unknown direction prior to officers arriving in the area.  No injuries were reported and no property was reported missing. Officers checked the surrounding area for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

Black male, between 16 & 25 years of age, 5’10”, 140-150lbs wearing a red bandana on his face
Last seen wearing dark colored hoody and light colored pants

Strong Armed Robbery – On October 30th at 1:03PM, officers responded to the 14500 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by three other male juveniles, two of which were known to him. The male suspects assaulted the victim and took a Samsung tablet and backpack before fleeing on foot. Minor injuries were reported. 
Residential Burglary – On November 2nd at 2:46AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2800 block of Bowes Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the home reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on November 1st and 12:30AM on November 2nd.  The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A television was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 31st at 8:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12000 block of Country Mill Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00PM and 8:00PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear door which was found damaged. Jewelry, camera, and other miscellaneous property were reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On October 31st at 6:17AM, officers responded to the Dumfries Collision Center located at 17484 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The business manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00PM on October 30th and 6:00AM on October 31st. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a front window which was found damaged.  A firearm was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 29th at 9:50AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16700 block of Capon Tree Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary attempt occurred between 6:30AM on October 23rd and 12:00 on October 26th.  The investigation revealed that entry was attempted into the residence through a rear door which was found damaged. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.
