Incidents and arrests released on Tuesday, May 17, 2016

**ARRESTS**

Armed Robbery – On May 15 at 10:15AM, officers responded to the 7600 block of Somerset Ln in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. The victim, an 18 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, identified as Gabriel RODRIGUEZ. During the encounter, RODRIQUEZ contacted a friend, identified as Isiah Larkie GREENE, to meet him. When GREENE arrived, he was wearing a mask and brandished a firearm towards the victim before taking her cell phone and fleeing the area. Officers were able to locate both male parties involved in the incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation both suspects were arrested. 
Arrested on May 15:
Gabriel RODRIGUEZ, 21, of 8025 McClean St in Manassas
Charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony

Isiah Larkie GREENE, 18, of 6372 Bonham Pl in Centreville
Charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, and use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Strangulation – On May 16 at 2:25AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17900 block of Swans Creek Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck and punched her in the face.  When the victim attempted to leave, the accused pushed her down a flight of stairs. The parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Sayed Zuhair NASAFI, was arrested without further incident.

Assault & Battery Investigation – On May 16, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred in the area of Clipper Dr and Inglebrook Dr in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that afternoon. The victim, a 14 year old female juvenile, reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect spoke briefly to the victim before he inappropriately touched her over the clothing. The victim immediately left the area then contacted police. No other contact was made between the two parties and no injuries were reported. Further investigation in to this incident revealed that two other victims, both 14 year old female juveniles, were also inappropriately touched by the same suspect over their clothing on May 12. Following the investigation, officers identified the suspect as the accused, Stevie DRUMMONS, and obtained warrants for his arrest. The accused turned himself into police without incident at the Gar-Field Police Station in Woodbridge later that evening.

Assault & Battery on a Corrections Officer – On May 16 at 9:53AM, officers responded to investigate an assault on a corrections officer which occurred at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) earlier that morning. The investigation revealed that the accused was being transferred to his cell when he became agitated and pushed a chair into an officer. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Keavon Teddrick COLEMAN, was charged.

Charged with assault & battery on a Corrections Officer
Court Date: Pending| Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
