**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On May 16 at 1:15AM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 18750 Fraley Blvd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store then asked for cigarettes. During the encounter, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
White male, between 30 & 35 years of age, 5’10”, 185lbs, with a medium build
Last seen wearing a black cap, blue jacket, and blue pants
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On May 15 at 1:30AM, officers responded to the 16500 block of Andrew Humphreys Ct in Bristow (20136) to investigate a shots fired call. Several callers reported to police that multiple gunshots were heard in the above area. Officers checked the area and located shell casings in the roadway. Upon further investigation, a homeowner reported to police that four unknown men attempted to enter a party being held at his residence. When the homeowner refused to allow the men to enter, one of the men brandished a handgun and fired several shots into the air as he walked away. No injuries or property damage were reported. The homeowner was not able to provide any suspect information. The investigation continues.
Indecent Exposure – On May 15 at 5:45PM, officers responded to investigate an indecent exposure which occurred at the Haymarket Gainesville Community Library located at 14870 Lightner Rd in Gainesville (20155) earlier that afternoon. An employee reported to police that while she was working inside the library she observed an unknown male juvenile expose himself and make an obscene gesture. The suspect left the area on a bicycle and the victim contacted police. No other contact was made between the two parties. Officers checked the area and did not locate the suspect.

A male of an unknown race, between 15 to 16 years of age, 6’02’’, 150lbs with hazel eyes and brown hair
Last seen wearing a white shirt, long red shorts with white trim, and socks with sandals
Indecent Exposure – On May 14 at 12:16AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4700 block of Still Pl in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 29 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was standing on her front when she observed an unknown man expose himself and make an obscene gesture. The victim immediately contacted police and the suspect left the area. No other contact was made between the two parties. Officers checked the area and did not locate the suspect.

Black male, unknown years of age, 6’02’’, 185lbs with a thin build, brown eyes, and black hair
Last seen wearing a black and blue shirt, black pants, and black shoes
Residential Burglary – On May 14 at 3:12AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2000 block of Jennings St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the home reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on May 13 and 2:00AM on May 14. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured window. A gaming console was reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On May 15 at 1:10AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4800 block of Langer Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she heard a noise outside her residence. When the homeowner looked out a window, she saw an unknown man standing on a rear deck. When the homeowner went to secure the front door, the suspect attempted to open it. The suspect eventually left in a white pick-up truck and the victim contacted police. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.

White male, between 30 & 40 years of age, 5’07”, 170lbs with brown hair
Last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, white sweater, and khaki pants
**ARRESTS**
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On May 15 at 1:55AM, officers responded to a residence located at 14400 Surrydale Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. Several family members reported to police that the accused, identified as a family member, was involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused brandished a handgun. Officers arrived at the residence and detained the accused, who was highly intoxicated, without further incident. Further investigation determined that the accused walked outside and fired multiple rounds into the ground in the back yard around 10:30PM on May 14. No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Luis Alberto MACHADO, 23, of 14407 Surrydale Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with 2 counts of reckless handling of a firearm, 1 count of brandishing a firearm, 1 count of shooting within 100yds of an occupied dwelling, and 1 count of public intoxication
