**INCIDENTS**
Strong Armed Robbery – On March 8 at 8:44AM, officers responded to the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery which occurred earlier that morning around 6:35AM. The victim, a 49 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she was approached by an unknown man who demanded her purse. When the victim refused, the suspect grabbed her purse then fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. Officers checked the area for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

White male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’5”, 130lbs with a thin build and black hair

**ARRESTS**
Residential Burglary Series – On March 8, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit concluded an investigation into multiple larcenies from homes being sold in the Gainesville area since August 2015. The investigation revealed that the accused attended several real estate open houses and provided false information to tour the homes. While touring the homes, the accused stole more than $15,000 worth of jewelry, prescription medication, and electronics which he later attempted to pawn at various businesses in Loudoun County. Though the investigation, detectives identified the accused and a search warrant was subsequently executed at his residence on March 8. As a result of the search, evidence of the larcenies was recovered. Following the investigation, the accused was located and arrested without incident. Additional charges are pending.

Charged with 4 counts of burglary and 4 counts of grand larceny

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On March 7 at 10:42AM, officers responded to a medical office located in the 8100 block of Aston Ave in Manassas (20109) for a disorderly patient. Officers arrived and made contact with the man, identified as the accused, who exhibited signs of intoxication. When the officers attempted to detain the accused, he resisted and spat on the officer’s faces. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Deshoun Ernest WALLACE, 33, of 10174 Portsmouth Ave in Manassas
Charged with 3 counts of assault & battery on a LEO, 1 count of disorderly conduct, and 1 count of public intoxication
