**INCIDENTS**

Homicide Investigation – On June 4 at 9:18PM, officers responded to the 14900 block of Potomac Heights Pl in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, it was determined that the victim, identified as a 24 year old man of Woodbridge, was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Detectives with the Homicide Unit have determined that this incident is not random. The investigation continues and additional information will be released when available. This is Prince William County’s 11th homicide of 2016.*

The victim was identified as Najee Alexander MASON, 24, of Woodbridge

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On June 3 at 6:34AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4900 block of Klein Ct in Woodbridge to investigate an assault. The victim, a 26 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim several times. At some point, the accused grabbed the victim and began to choke her. The accused eventually fled the area and the victim contacted police.  Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the accused, identified as Leo Darryl HARRINGTON. Attempts to locate HARRINGTON have been unsuccessful.

Described as a black male, 5’08”, 130lbs with a thin build, black hair, and brown eyes
Charged with strangulation and domestic assault & battery

Strong Armed Robbery – On June 3 at 11:50PM, officers responded to the area of Coverstone Dr and Gales Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 57 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she was approached by an unknown man asking for money. During the encounter, the suspect grabbed the victim and rummaged through her pockets.  After a brief struggle, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported.  Officers checked the area but did not locate the suspect. The investigation continues.

Black male, between 27 & 30 years of age, 6’00” with a thin build, goatee, and black hair

Reckless Handling of a Firearm | Brandishing – On June 5 at 1:45PM, officers responded to the 13500 block of Adrian Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 27 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, a family member of the victim attempted to intervene. At some point, the accused retrieved the victim’s handgun from a vehicle then brandished it toward the family member, a 19 year old man of Woodbridge. The accused then fired one round into the air before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, officer’s obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Andre Jon RICHARDSON. Attempts to locate RICHARDSON have been unsuccessful

Described as a black male, 6’03”, 180lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Charged with reckless handling of a firearm, brandishing a firearm, grand larceny, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and carrying a concealed weapon

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On June 4 at 10:24AM, officers responded to the 4600 block of Central Park Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. Several callers reported to police that multiple gunshots were heard in the above area. Officers checked the area and located shell casings in the roadway. Upon further investigation, it was determined that several unknown men attempted to enter a party being held at a residence.  When a resident of the home refused to allow the men to enter, several shots were heard outside the home a short time later. No injuries or property damage were reported. No suspect information was provided. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary- On June 3 at 2:46PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15300 block of Gatehouse Terr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM on December 25, 2015 and 5:00PM on June 1. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry.  Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear door. Jewelry and money was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On June 3 at 8:00AM, officers responded to the old Kmart store located at 2851 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. A construction worker reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00PM on June 2 and 7:30AM on June 3. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through the rear door which was found damaged. Copper wiring was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On June 4 at 3:18AM, officers responded to the 8400 block of Rosebay Ln in Bristow (20136) to investigate a disorderly call. Officers arrived and made contact with a woman who exhibited signs of intoxication and arrested her without incident. While being placed in a police cruiser, the accused resisted and kicked one of the officers in the upper body. The accused was quickly secured without further incident. No injuries were reported.  Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Erin Marie UHLER, 38, of 8400 Rosemary Ln in Bristow
Charged with assault & battery on a LEO, obstruction of justice, and public intoxication
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held on a $1,000 Secured Bond
