**ARRESTS**
Strangulation | Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery– On January 18 at 12:40PM, officers responded to investigate a domestic which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 7500 block of Purdue Ct in Manassas(20109) on January 17. The victim, a 24 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was leaving her place of employment when she was approached by the accused, an acquaintance, and forced into his vehicle. The accused then drove the victim to his residence where she was forced inside and assaulted. At one point, the accused pushed the victim to the ground and began to choke her. The victim was eventually able to get away from the accused and contact police. Minor injuries were reported. Officers located the accused at his residence and detained him without incident. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
Arrested January 18:
Guadalupe CRUZ DELEON, 37, of 7528 Purdue Ct in Manassas
Charged with strangulation¸ abduction, grand larceny, and domestic assault & battery

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 16 at 11:49PM, officers responded to the area of Prince William Pkwy and Noble Pond Way in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. Once in the area, officers made contact with the victim, a 30 year old woman of Woodbridge, and the accused, an acquaintance, who were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the investigation, the accused attempted to flee from the officers but was quickly taken into custody. While being walked to a police cruiser, the accused resisted and, at one point, spit on an officer’s head. No injuries were reported to the officer. The accused was arrested without further incident.

Charles Daniel THOMPSON, 28, of No Fixed Address
Charged with assault & battery on a LEO, domestic assault & battery, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest
Court Date: March 9, 2016 | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 15 at 10:25PM, a Prince William County police officer observed a traffic violation on a vehicle driving in the area of the Balls Ford Rd and New Market Ct in Manassas (20109). The officer conducted a vehicle stop and the driver pulled into an adjacent parking lot. As the officer began to approach the vehicle, a passenger of the vehicle, identified as the accused, attempted to flee and ran into a nearby business. When officers located the accused and attempted to arrest him, he resisted and struck the officers in the upper body. The accused was quickly detained without further incident and was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
Arrested on January 16:
Michael FREEMAN, 39, of No Fixed Address
Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery on a LEO, 1 count of obstruction of justice, and 1 count of resisting arrest
Court Date: March 23, 2016 | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
No incidents were include in the Jan. 19, 2016 police department’s crime report.
