Attempted Malicious Wounding | Shooting *ARREST – On August 25, detectives with the Robbery Unit obtained warrants for the arrest of the female acquaintance of the victim involved in the shooting investigation which occurred at a residence located in the 3200 block of Berlin Ct, Woodbridge, earlier that morning. The suspect, identified as Shatoria Lakia MILES, was arrested without incident at her residence later that day. The investigation continues.

Shatoria Lakia MILES, 18, of 9967 Leander Ln in Manassas
Charged with attempted aggravated malicious wounding and conspiracy to commit aggravated malicious wounding

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Shooting [Previously Released]– On August 25 at 2:03AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3200 block of Berlin Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. The victim, a 21-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was shot at by known associates of a female acquaintance. The victim was speaking to the female acquaintance outside of his residence in the above area when two men approached. One man was armed with a handgun while the other held a bat. When the victim attempted to flee on foot, he was hit by the suspect with the bat. The other suspect fired the handgun multiple times towards the victim. The victim was not struck by any of the rounds and was able to contact police. The suspect eventually fled in a vehicle. This incident does not appear to random. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On August 23, detectives from the Gang Unit identified one of the suspects involved in the robbery which occurred in the 18000 block of Fraley Blvd in the Town of Dumfries on August 18. Detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of this suspect, identified as Darius Lamont DAVIS. Attempts to locate DAVIS have been unsuccessful.
Wanted:
Darius Lamont DAVIS, 21, of the 18300 block of Chestnut Point in Triangle
Described as a black male, 5’10”, 160lbs with brown eyes and black hair
Wanted for robbery, abduction, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On August 18 at 10:38PM, officers responded to the 18000 block of Fraley Blvd in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 42-year-old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was walking in the area of White Haven Dr and Main St when he was approached by two acquaintances. During the encounter, the victim was punched in the face knocking him to the ground. The suspects then took the victim’s cell phone and demanded money. When the victim refused, one of the men brandished a handgun and forced the victim to walk to a nearby business in order to retrieve money from an ATM machine. While in the business, a Town of Dumfries police officer on routine patrol entered the business and the suspects fled the area. The victim then made contact with the officer. Minor injuries were reported. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**

Sexual Assault Investigation – On August 21 at 6:00PM, officers responded to investigate a possible sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 4200 block of Gustus Dr in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that morning.  The investigation revealed that the victim, a 24-year-old woman of Woodbridge, received a ride from a business located in Arlington to her residence in Woodbridge from a driver for hire. When the driver arrived in the area of the victim’s residence, he may have sexually assaulted the victim. After the alleged assault, the suspect left the victim on the front yard of her residence then drove away. A witness assisted the victim into her residence and police were contacted later that afternoon. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Hispanic or middle eastern male with a light brown complexion, between 27 & 35 years of age and dark hair
Last seen wearing a purple shirt and black dress pants

Residential Burglary – On August 25 at 5:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7400 block of Emerald Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary in progress. The caller reported to police when he opened the front door, he heard glass breaking towards the rear of the residence. Upon further inspection, a rear sliding glass door which was found shattered and the house had been ransacked. No suspect information could be provided. A safe and several shoes were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On August 25 at 10:37PM, officers responded to the homeless camps located in the 14100 block of Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a fight with weapons. The victim, a 51-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused cut the victim in the hand with a knife. The parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police. Officers located and detained the accused a short time later. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
