**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On February 14 at 4:45AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 13600 block of Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) around 8:45PM on February 13. The victim, a 44 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a knife and demanded money. After the victim gave the men his money, the other suspect struck the victim multiple times with a bat, knocking him to the ground. Once on the ground, a third unknown man approached and began striking the victim with his fists before all three men fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injures. The suspects were not located.
Suspect Descriptions:
Black male, unknown age, 6’2”, 170lbs with a thin build, medium complexion and a goatee
Last seen wearing a black mask, black jacket, jeans and yellow boots

Black male, unknown age, 5’3”, 150lbs with a heavy build, medium complexion
Last seen wearing a black mask, black jacket and camouflage pants

Black male, unknown age with a heavy build and light complexion
Last seen wearing a black mask, black jacket, jeans and “neon” shoes with black soles

Attempted Armed Robbery – On February 12 at 9:46PM, officers responded to the 16700 block of Blackjack Oak Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, a 21 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim was able to flee the area before any property was taken. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search the area. The suspect was not located.
Suspect Description:
Hispanic male, between 25 & 35 years of age, 5’11” with a medium build and light complexion
Last seen wearing a dark colored “NY Yankees” hat, glasses, navy blue puffy jacket, jeans and white “Jordan” shoes

Residential Burglary – On February 13 at 5:17PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14300 block of Berkshire Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00AM and 5:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Jewelry was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On February 12 at 3:25PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4100 block of Ashmere Ct in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:30PM and 3:10PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A hoverboard was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On February 14 at 38:44AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16300 block of Taconic Cir in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 6:00PM on February 13 and 8:44AM on February 14, entry was attempted into the residence through a patio door which was found partially open. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On February 12 at 8:48PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3000 block of Stockholm Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 35 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she attempted to intervene in a verbal altercation between two family members. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the neck’s neck preventing her from breathing. At one point, the altercation proceeded into the bathroom where both parties fell to the ground causing the victim to strike her heard against the bathtub. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. The accused left the area prior to police arriving at the home but returned a short time later. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Gregory Lenell DONALD II, 34, of the 3000 block of Stockholm Way in Woodbridge
Charged with strangulation and domestic assault & battery
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Felony Child Neglect – On February 12 at 5:58AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 15000 block of Sunny Ridge Cir in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a child neglect call. When officers arrived at the home, they observed and made contact with a child, later identified as a 6 year old boy, through a closed bedroom window. The investigation revealed that two other children, identified as a 5 year old girl and a 2 year old girl, were also inside the residence and that no adult was present. While officers were still at the residence, the accused, the children’s mother, returned to the home around 7:10AM. The children were no injured. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. The children were released to the custody of a family friend.

Lucia Gonzalez ALFARO, 32, of the 15000 block of Sunny Ridge Cir in Woodbridge
Charged with 3 counts of felony child neglect
Court Date: Pending | Bond: $5,000 secured
