Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County Police Department on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015
**INCIDENTS**
Aggravated Sexual Battery | Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle – On August 9th at 6:30AM, officers responded to the 17400 block of Isle Royal Terrace in Dumfries (22025) to investigate an unauthorized use of a vehicle. The caller reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, took his 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 without permission that morning. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused sexually assaulted an 8 year old girl, a known acquaintance, while staying at an address on the 18900 block of White Oak Dr in Triangle (22172) at 1:30AM. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. Attempts to locate this suspect have been unsuccessful.

Christopher Michael STATZER IV, 33, of no fixed address
Described as a white male, 6’00’’, 150lbs with a thin build, bald, and blue eyes
Wanted for aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, and unauthorized use of a vehicle
He is driving a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 black in color with flames and 22’’ chrome wheels with VA tags XFD5818.
Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On August 11th at 1:12AM, officers responded to the 1800 block of Strickland Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The victim, a 36 year old man, reported to police that while he was in an upstairs bedroom, he heard several shots fired outside his residence. Officers arrived on scene and found a front window pane shattered. Several spent shell casings were located nearby. A single bullet was found on the floor inside the residence. No injuries or further property damage were reported.
Residential Burglary – August 9th at 12:27PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11300 block of Golden Leaf Circle in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 12:20PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through an unsecured rear window. Personal documents were reported missing.
** ARRESTS **
Malicious Wounding – On August 8th at 2:30AM, officers responded to the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center located at 2300 Optiz Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 25 year old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated while standing outside the Babylon Hookah bar located at 3081 Golansky Blvd in Woodbridge (22193). During the encounter, the accused retrieved a box cutter and stabbed the victim several times on the upper body. The parties eventually separated and the victim responded to the hospital where she was treated with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was located and arrested without incident.

Strong Armed Robbery – On August 7th at 8:58PM, officers responded to the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 24 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police he was staying with some friends in a nearby apartment when two unknown male suspects were allowed into the apartment. Once inside, the suspects demanded money from the victim. When the victim refused, the suspects assaulted him then forcibly took his wallet. The victim was eventually able to leave the apartment then contact police. When officers responded to the apartment, the occupants attempted to close the door on the officers. Once the officers were inside the apartment, a 17 year old juvenile female assaulted an officer by striking him in the face. The juvenile female was arrested without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, detectives were able to identity the suspects involved in the robbery and obtained warrants for their arrest. The suspects were located and arrested without incident.

Charged with robbery

Assault & Battery on a Corrections Officer – On August 6th at 6:15PM, officers responded to the Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20111) to investigate a disorderly inmate. The victim, a correctional officer employed by the Prince William Adult Detention Center, stated the accused became disorderly and threw a food tray at the officer striking him in the arm and face. The accused then began to strike responding officers before he was detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was charged.

Warren WARE, 23, of 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas
Charged with assault & battery on corrections officer
Court date: October 26, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
Commercial Burglary – On August 8th at 8:07PM, officers responded to Traffic Safety Supplies located at 14490 Lee Highway in Gainesville (20155) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the business and located several glass windows which were shattered. The interior of the business had been disturbed and several doors were found damaged. Responding officers established a perimeter, and a police K-9 was used to attempt a track. The accused was located in an adjacent wood line to the rear of the business and detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
