**UPDATES**
Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED - On August 12th, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify the remaining suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 14100 block of Bay Vista Dr in Woodbridge on July 27th. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against the accused, MARSHALL, in reference to this case. MARSHALL is known to frequent the Williamstown area in Dumfries. The SHANNON suspect was identified on July 30th and remains wanted. The investigation continues.

James Jefferson MARSHALL III, 25, of no fixed address
Described as a black males, 6’2”, 220lbs with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes
Daniel Christopher SHANNON, 22, of no fixed address
Described as a black male, 5’11”, 250lbs with a heavy build, black hair and brown eyes
Both men are wanted for 2 counts of robbery and 2 counts of using a firearm in commission of a felony
Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On July 27th at 9:50AM, police responded to the 14100 block of Bay Vista Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery. The victims, a 21 year old woman and a 20 year old man – both of Woodbridge, reported to police that they were walking in the area above when they were approached by two unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and took the victims cell phones and an electronic tablet before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. On July 30th, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify the armed suspect involved in this case. The investigation led detectives to a residence located at 2187 Jennings St in Woodbridge where a search was obtained and executed. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against the accused in reference to this case. The accused was not at this address at time of the search and is believed to reside at an unknown address in Washington D.C.
**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On August 12th at 3:41PM, police responded to the 14800 block of Ensor Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. The victim, a 15 year old male of Manassas Park, reported to police that he was at the playground in the above area when he was approached by three unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The men took the victim’s earrings, iPod, cell phone, and other property before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

Armed Robbery – On August 12th at 2:20PM, police responded to the Shell Service Station located at 3186 River Heritage Blvd in (22026) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store and approached the counter. Once other customers left the business, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took the cash drawer before fleeing the area with two other suspects that waited outside. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

Residential Burglary – On August 12th at 3:32PM, police responded to the 8600 block of Newton Pl in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:30AM and 10:00AM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear door. Copper piping and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Aggravated Sexual Battery | Indecent Liberties with a Minor – On August 12th, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 10800 block of Gambril Dr in Manassas (20109). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 13 year old girl of Manassas, was sexually assaulted multiple times between June and August of 2013. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery, 2 counts of forcible sodomy, and 2 counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor

Narcotics Investigation – On July 2nd, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of suspected cocaine with the execution of a search warrant at 8859 Oliver Ct #6 in Manassas (20110). As a result of the search, suspected cocaine, a handgun, evidence of distribution, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were seized. The following arrests were also made without incident. These arrests were previously held for investigative purposes.

Charged with distribution of a schedule I/II narcotic, possession with intent to distribute a schedule I/II narcotic, possession of a schedule I/II narcotic, possession of a firearm with narcotics, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
