Malicious Wounding | Strong Armed Robbery | Burglary *ARREST – On June 3rd, members of the U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force arrested the suspect, Robert BLACK-REED, in connection to the assault of a 20 year old woman of Woodbridge which was reported to have occurred at an apartment located in the 1200 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge on May 30th. The suspect was located at a residence in the 2500 block of 13th St in NW, Washington DC and arrested without incident. The suspect will be held in Washington DC until extradited back to Virginia.

Robert Kennedy BLACK-REED, 25, of the 5500 block of Columbia Pike in Arlington
Charged with malicious wounding, robbery and burglary

Malicious Wounding | Strong Armed Robbery | Burglary [Previously Released] – On May 30th at 3:11AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 1200 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The resident of the apartment, a 20 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was sleeping in her bedroom when she woke to the accused, a known acquaintance, inside her room. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim, a 25 year old man of Fort Washington MD, who was also present in the room. When the victim attempted to contact police, the accused took the victim’s cell phone and struck him with it before fleeing on foot. The victim sustained a serious, non-life threatening injury to his head and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The female resident of the apartment was bit injured. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.
Armed Robbery *ARREST – On June 3rd, members of the U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force arrested the suspect, James CARRICO, in connection to the robbery of the BP Service Station located at 7111 Sudley Rd in Manassas on May 2nd. The suspect was located at the Motel 6 located in Camp Springs Maryland and arrested without incident. The suspect will be held in Maryland until extradited back to Virginia.

James Michael CARRICO, 29, of the 8700 block of Signal Hill Rd in Manassas
Charged with robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On May 2nd at 7:34PM, officers responded to the BP Service Station located at 7111 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter. Once there, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money and cigarettes. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. During the course of the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify the suspect involved in this incident. Upon reviewing surveillance footage from the incident, the suspect was identified as James CARRICO. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for his arrest in connection to the robbery. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
Residential Burglary *ARRESTS | WANTED SUSPECT – On June 2nd, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit identified and arrested two juveniles in connection to the burglary which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 12600 block of Castile Ct in Woodbridge on May 22nd. During the investigation, detectives learned that a third suspect, identified as Tevon HASKINS, was also involved in the burglary and that he and the female juvenile had conspired to plan the incident. The HASKINS suspect was also reportedly armed during the commission of the burglary. Following the investigation, both juveniles were changed and warrants were obtained for the arrest of HASKINS.

Tevin Dean HASKINS, 19, of the 5300 block of Cupids Dart Dr in Centreville
Described as a black male, 5’08”, 160lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for burglary while armed, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony
Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On May 22nd at 4:25PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12600 block of Castile Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:45AM and 2:20PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear window. A laptop, jewelry, gaming console and other property were reported missing.
**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On June 3rd at 12:40AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18200 block of Woodland Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the home and made contact with the homeowner who reported that she was inside her home when the alarm activated. Upon checking the home, she observed an unknown man in her living room. The man appeared intoxicated and left the home without incident. No property was taken. The investigation revealed that the man entered the home through unlocked door.

Black male, between 30 & 40 years of age, 6’0” with a thin build, black hair, brown eyes and facial hair

Residential Burglary – On June 2nd at 2:32PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10200 block of Chinkapin Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 2:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear door which was found damaged. Jewelry, a safe and an iPod touch were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On June 1st at 9:46AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18500 block of Tralee Ct in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 9:30AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a side door which was found damaged. Two laptops, money and other property were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On June 2nd at 9:32PM, officers responded to the Inns of Virginia located at 951 Annapolis Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. The resident reported to police that she was inside her room when she heard a knock at the door. When she answered the door, two unknown men attempted to force their way inside. One of the men was reportedly armed with a handgun. Another resident of the room was able to close the door preventing the men from entering the room. Both suspects immediately fled the motel and got into a dark colored 4-door sedan, possibly a Dodge Neon. No injuries were reported and no property was taken. The suspects were only described as black males.
**ARRESTS**
Abduction | Strong Armed Robbery | Domestic Assault & Battery – On June 2nd at 4:35PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1300 block of East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck and began to assault her. The accused held the victim back when she attempted to leave the home multiple times. The victim eventually gave the accused money in order to stop the assault. At that point, the victim was allowed to leave the home where she then contacted police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Filing a False Police Report – On June 2nd at 7:35AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2700 block of Sheffield Hill Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an initial report of an armed burglary resulting in an abduction.
The caller, identified as Charles LEE, reported to police that he went to his friend’s home and found her tied up and gagged inside the residence.
Officers arrived at the residence and spoke to the homeowner, identified as Shaquana MOORE, who reported that an unknown man and woman entered her home through the garage door. Once inside, the suspects confronted her and allegedly displayed a knife before assaulting and tying her up.
During the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit discovered many inconsistencies in the reported events.
Detectives eventually learned that Ms. MOORE had contacted Mr. LEE to arrange the incident due to ongoing court proceedings involving the custody of her child. Ms. MOORE’s 6 year old son was present in the home during the alleged incident but was not injured. This investigation tied up many department resources throughout the day until the incident was determined to be falsely reported.
Following the investigation, both individuals were arrested.

Charles Robert LEE Jr., 31, of 14763 Wermuth Way in Woodbridge
Both were charged with filing a false police report
