**UPDATES**

Commercial Burglaries *ARREST – On June 9th at 10:50PM, officers responded to the Festival Cleaners located at 12452 Dillingham Sq in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. Officers were in the area on a previous disorderly call at an area restaurant in which a suspect had reportedly left the area on foot. While an officer was checking the area for the suspect, the front glass window to the above business was found shattered. No suspect was located inside the business. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing. Officers established a perimeter in the area and a police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. An individual, later identified as the accused, was eventually located and detained. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested in connection to the recent burglary above, as well as, two others which occurred on June 6th. A search warrant was also executed at the home of the accused.

Correction Frank David Merrill Jr. Frank David FRANK Jr., 53, of 12519 Colby Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with 3 counts of burglary, 3 counts of destruction of property, 2 counts of grand larceny and 1 count of petit larceny

Commercial Burglary [Previously Released] – On June 6th at 2:19AM, officers responded to Marumsco Cleaners located at 13919 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The caller reported to police that front glass door to the above business was found shattered. The store was checked by officers and no one was found inside. No property was reported missing at the time of the report. A police K-9 was used to check the area.

Commercial Burglary [Previously Released] – On June 6th at 1:16AM, officers responded to La Despensa located at 14342 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The caller reported to police that front glass door to the above business was found shattered. The store was checked by officers and no one was found inside. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing. A review of the business surveillance footage was reviewed showing an unknown man entered the store. A police K-9 was used to check the area.

**INCIDENTS**

Attempted Armed Robbery – On June 19th at 5:06PM, officers responded to the Title Max located at 3930 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted robbery. Employees of the business reported to police that an unknown man, with his face covered by a t-shirt, entered the location and approached the counter. Once there, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect reportedly became nervous and eventually left the business without taking any money or property. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 17 & 25 years of age, 5’10”, 150lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and a white shirt over his face

**ARRESTS**

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On June 9th at 8:48PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13800 block of Redskin Ct in Woodbridge (22193) in regard to service request from Fairfax County Police. Information was received that the accused was at the above location and was wanted by their jurisdiction. As officers approached the residence, they observed an individual matching the description of the accused walking towards a vehicle. The officers walked up to the vehicle as the individual was seated in the driver’s seat. At that time, officers confirmed the driver was the accused and issued her commands to exit the vehicle. One of the officers opened the driver’s side door while another attempted to open the passenger side door. At that point, the accused placed the vehicle in reverse and accelerated backwards at a high rate of speed. This action by the accused caused the officer standing at the driver’s side door to have to run alongside the vehicle before he was able to let go safely. Neither officer was injured. The accused was eventually located later that evening and arrested without further incident following a vehicle stop on Spriggs Rd.
Arrested on June 9th:
Michelle Renee BULLOCK, 37, of 13838 Redskin Ct in Woodbridge
Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery on a LEO, 1 count of resisting arrest and 1 count of obstruction of justice
Court date: July 29, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Narcotics Investigation – On June 10th, detectives from the Special Investigations Bureau concluded a narcotics investigation involving the distribution of marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 10402 Labrador Lp in Manassas (20112). As a result of the search, multiple firearms were located which were reported stolen from various jurisdictions in the area. Additionally, detectives further located evidence of distribution in the home. Following the investigation, the below arrests were made without incident.
Arrested on June 10th:
Francisco Antonio ROJAS, 28, of 10402 Labrador Lp in Manassas
Charged with 4 counts of possession of a stolen firearm, 1 count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and 1 count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Court date: July 24, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Carlos Alexander BENITEZ-ALVAREZ, 38, of 10402 Labrador Lp in Manassas
Charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Court date: July 24, 2015 | Bond: $10,000 secured
