**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On June 9th at 4:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12000 block of Burwell Rd in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:30AM and 3:15PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through the front door which was forced open. Two gaming consoles, jewelry, a camera and other property were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On June 9th at 10:55PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 15200 block of Colony Pl in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she returned to her home and saw an unknown man exiting the apartment. When the resident confronted the man, he fled on foot. Money was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Male, unknown race, between 20 & 30 years of age, 6’0”, 170lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants
Residential Burglary – On June 8th at 12:58PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14500 block of Stephen St in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred around 10:00AM. The investigation revealed that the homeowner heard a noise around that time and believed it was another resident of the home. A short time later, the homeowner determined that entry was made into the residence through an unsecured window. Jewelry and money were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On June 10th at 4:53AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8800 block of Vicksburg Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that around 3:15AM, she woke to the sound of her dogs barking. No further noises were heard. A short time later, the homeowner discovered a rear door was slightly open. There were no signs of forced entry in to the residence. No entry is believed to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding – On June 8th at 8:30PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14100 block of Cove Landing Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic incident. The victim, a 20 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a box cutter and cut the victim to her abdomen. The injury was minor and non-life threatening. The parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with malicious wounding

Unlawful Injury by Caustic Substance – On June 8th at 2:05PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 32 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused sprayed the victim in the face with pepper spray. Minor injuries were reported. The parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with unlawful injury by caustic substance

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On June 6th at 9:00PM, officers assigned to work the Jiffy Lube Live concert detail responded to the parking lot of 7800 Cellar Door Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate a fight. When officers arrived, they encountered a man, later identified as the accused. While officers were speaking to the accused, he showed signs of intoxication and became agitated towards police. The accused was subsequently arrested and transported to the police trailer on the property for processing. While inside the trailer, the accused continued to act aggressively and, at one point, forcefully kicked one of the officers to his lower body. The accused was eventually transported to the Adult Detention Center. During transport, the accused repeatedly struck his head on the cage divider in the cruiser causing self-sustained head injury. The accused was transported to an area hospital for evaluation. While at the hospital, the accused became disruptive and disorderly towards staff. Following the investigation, the accused was treated and transported back to the Adult Detention Center.

Charged with assault & battery on a LEO and public intoxication
