Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County VA Police Department on Monday, May 4, 2015
**INCIDENTS**
Abduction | Assault & Battery – On May 1st at 10:24PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at an apartment located in the 1300 block of East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, an 18 year old woman of Burke, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in an ongoing argument throughout most of the day. On multiple occasions, the accused forced the victim into a vehicle and assaulted her. The altercation continued at the residence of the accused located in the above area where the accused reportedly held the victim against her will and continued the assault. Minor injuries were reported. When the incident moved outside, a witness intervened to separate the parties. At that point, the accused fled on foot and police were contacted. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.

Described as a white male, 5’10”, 150lbs with short brown hair, blue eyes, a goatee and tattoos on his chest

Armed Robbery – On May 2nd at 7:34PM, officers responded to the BP Service Station located at 7111 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter. Once there, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money and cigarettes. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
White male, between 25 & 29 years of age, 5’7”, 150lbs with a thin build and a tattoo on his neck and hand
Last seen wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt with “Virginia” in white letters, light gray sweatpants, black shoes and a black hat with “K” on the front and a gray brim
Armed Robbery – On May 2nd at 3:08AM, officers responded to the 15500 block of Yorktown Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a robbery. The victims, three juvenile males, reported to police that they were walking in the above area when they were approached by an unknown, masked man. During the encounter, the man displayed a handgun and took money and a cell phone from the victims before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Black male, between 18 & 22 years of age, 5’10”, 180lbs with a medium build and dark complexion
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, white shoes and a black mask
Residential Burglary – On May 2nd at 4:52PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 1700 block of Shady River Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The caller, a resident of the apartment, reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:30PM and 4:30PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. Jewelry and other property were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On May 1st at 6:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4000 block of Brussels Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00AM on April 26th and 6:30PM on May 1st. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Money was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On May 1st at 2:20PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7300 block of Roxbury Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:30AM and 2:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear door which was forced open. Multiple firearms were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On May 1st at 6:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4000 block of Brussels Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00AM on April 26th and 6:30PM on May 1st. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Money was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On May 1st at 11:07AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10000 block of Lomond Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 10:30AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear door which was forced open. Money was reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On May 1st at 9:09AM officers responded to Matheny Motors located at 14716 Industry Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. A business employee reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on April 30th and 8:30AM on May 1st. The investigation revealed that entry was made into a secure lot on the property after a hole was cut into the perimeter fence. Multiple light bars for tow trucks were reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On May 1st at 9:08AM officers responded to the Laundromat Depot located at 1101 Horner Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. A business employee reported to police that the burglary occurred around 3:59AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through the front door which was found damaged. Once inside, the intruder broke the glass to a vending machine. Money was reported missing. Surveillance footage was reviewed which captured the incident. The suspect, only described as a male, was not identified.
Residential Burglary – On April 30th at 1:57PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13100 block of Quann Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred around 1:57PM. The investigation revealed that a neighbor witnessed two suspects enter the home through a rear sliding glass door which was found shattered. A gaming console and safe containing money were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On May 2nd at 9”54AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7900 block of Saddlehorn Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that on May 1st, around 11:30PM, she heard a noise coming from the basement area of the home. The next day, the basement door was found opened. No property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Residential Burglary | Grand Larceny – On May 3rd at 5:30AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 13900 block of Longwood Manor Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary in progress. The caller, a resident of the apartment, reported to police that she arrived home and found an unknown man inside her bathroom. Once discovered, the suspect fled from the apartment on foot with property belonging to the victim. An officer responding to the incident observed an individual matching the description provided by the victim in the area of York Dr and Mathews Dr. Officers identified the individual as the accused and further determined that he was responsible for the burglary. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Charged with burglary and grand larceny
