**UPDATES**

Strong Armed Robbery *ARREST – On May 23rd, Fairfax County Police arrested the suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 12700 block of Bombay Way in Woodbridge on May 18th. Detectives from the Robbery Unit are still seeking to identify the remaining suspect, described below, who was also reportedly involved in the incident.

Richard Raphael STEVENS, 21, of 4117 Hampstead Ln in Woodbridge
Charged with robbery

Suspect Description:
The remaining suspect was described as a Hispanic male, unknown age, with long hair pulled back and a large tattoo on his arm
Last seen wearing a white t-shirt - no further description

Strong Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On May 18th at 1:36PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 12700 block of Bombay Way in Woodbridge (22192). The victim, a 30 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was delivering a pizza to a home in the above area when he encountered two unknown men. The men approached the victim and asked for change. When the victim was counting out the change, one of the men forcibly snatched the money from the victim and fled on foot. No injuries were reported. The victim responded back to the business where police were contacted. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. The residence of the delivery was later determined to be a vacant home. On May 19th, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified one of the suspects involved in this incident. Property left at the scene led detectives to identify the suspect as Richard STEVENS. Following the investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Armed Robbery *ARREST – During the course of the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify the suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred at the BP Service Station located at 7111 Sudley Rd in Manassas on May 2nd. Upon reviewing surveillance footage from the incident, the suspect was identified as James CARRICO. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for his arrest in connection to the robbery. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
Wanted:
James Michael CARRICO, 29, of the 8700 block of Signal Hill Rd in Manassas
Described as a white male, 5’10”, 150lbs with black hair, brown eyes and multiple body tattoos
Wanted for robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On May 2nd at 7:34PM, officers responded to the BP Service Station located at 7111 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter. Once there, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money and cigarettes. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On May 28th at 8:06AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Bell Tower Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary to a model home. The property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on May 27th and 8:00AM on May 28th. The investigation revealed there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured door. A laptop, television, CD player and computer equipment were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On May 27th at 11:33AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8600 block of Sunnygate Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:50AM on May 25th and 7:00PM on May 26th. The investigation revealed there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured door. A gaming console, stereo and other property were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 28th at 10:00PM, officers responded to Youth for Tomorrow located at 11885 Hazel Cir in Bristow (20136) to investigate a disorderly resident. Officers arrived and met with staff who reported that a male juvenile resident of the facility was smoking a cigar and refused to extinguish it when asked. Officers made contact with the resident and while speaking to him, he became aggressive and combative towards the officers. After repeated requests to calm down, a struggle ensued. During the struggle, the accused kicked an officer in the ankle and pushed another in the chest. No injuries were reported. Following the incident, the accused was arrested.

A 16 year old male juvenile of Bristow
Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery on a LEO, 1 count of resisting arrest and 1 count of underage possession of tobacco

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 27th at 10:40AM, the accused was arrested and being processed at the Garfield District Station regarding an ongoing issue she was having with a female acquaintance. During the arrest process, the accused asked to use the phone and was permitted to do so. Once the necessary part of call was completed, the accused was asked multiple times to hang up the phone and return to her seat in order to continue the booking process. The accused refused to cooperate and a struggle ensued. The accused eventually complied and returned to the seating area. As an officer was attempting to apply handcuffs on the accused, she spat in the officer’s direction, striking the officer in the arms. The accused was originally arrested in connection to an incident in which she allegedly made threats to harm a 21 year old woman of Woodbridge by means of text messaging and phone calls. Following the investigation, the accused was charged in connection to both incidents.

Charged with assault & battery on a LEO, assault & battery, obstruction of justice, threats in writing, phone threats and harassment by computer

Narcotics Investigation – On May 29th at 12:15AM, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit stopped a vehicle in the 3000 block of Golansky Blvd in Woodbridge (22192). Detectives approached the vehicle and identified one of occupants as the accused.  During the course of the investigation, the accused was found to be in possession of marijuana and suspected cocaine. After a secondary search of the accused at the Garfield District Station, an additional substance believed to be cocaine was recovered. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. The accused is an employee of Prince William County Schools.

Wesley Frank FOUNTAIN, 21, of 11684 Crest Maple Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic and possession of marijuana
Court date: July 17, 2015 | Bond: $5,000 secured

Narcotics Investigation – On April 20th, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas City-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the possession of marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 16226 Taconic Cir in Dumfries (22025). As a result of the search, marijuana and evidence of distribution were recovered. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.

Jesse Benjamin ARTIS III, 42, of 16226 Taconic Cir in Dumfries
Charged with distribution of marijuana
Court date: June 12, 2015 | Bond: $7,500 secured – at the time of arrest

Narcotics Investigation – On April 9th, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas City-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the distribution of suspected cocaine with the execution of a search warrant at 13251 Kurtis Rd in Woodbridge (22193). As a result of the search, suspected cocaine was recovered. The accused, Cory NORTHINGTON, was previously arrested following a traffic stop earlier that day. Following the investigation, a second suspect, Chardawn WASHINGTON, was identified and also arrested. These arrests were previously held for investigative purposes.

Cory Lidell NORTHINGTON, 35, of 13251 Kurtis Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic and possession of a schedule I or II narcotic

Chardawn Keyera WASHINGTON, 34, of 13251 Kurtis Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic
