**INCIDENTS**
Strong Armed Robbery – On May 14th at 4:24AM, officers responded to the 13100 block of Hillendale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 22 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by three unknown men. During the encounter, the men assaulted the victim before talking an undisclosed amount of money and feeing the area. Minor injuries were reported. The victim was only able to describe the assailants as black males in their early 20’s.
Residential Burglary – On May 13th at 4:01PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Titania Way in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:00PM on May 9th and 4:00PM on May 13th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. A wallet and money were reported missing.
Residential Burglary– On May 13th at 1:37AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4800 block of Kenmont Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM on May 10th and 1:30AM on May 13th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. A laptop was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On May 12th at 10:26PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18400 block of Woodland Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred 4:00PM and 10:05PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a side door which was forced open. Jewelry, a gaming console, shoes and other property were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On May 13th at 5:07AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14400 block of Falmouth Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the face. At one point, both parties fell to the ground where the struggle continued. The victim further reported that during the assault, the accused wrapped his arm around her neck. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery | Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 12th at 11:48PM, officers responded to the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Fox Lair Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic incident. Multiple witnesses reported seeing a domestic altercation between a man and woman in the above area. Officers arrived and were directed by witnesses to an unoccupied vehicle near a wooded area at that location. Officers further observed a woman, later identified as a 19 year old woman of Woodbridge, walk out of the wooded area with a man, who was later identified as the accused. During the encounter, the accused became aggressive towards the officer and attempted to get back into the vehicle. When the officer intervened, a struggle ensued. At one point, the accused used his elbow to forcibly strike the officer in the chest. After a brief struggle, the accused was eventually detained without further incident. The investigation revealed that the victim and the accused were in the vehicle when they got into a verbal argument. The victim eventually asked to be let out of the vehicle. Once stopped in the above area, the victim exited the vehicle and was followed by the accused. The accused followed the victim and chased after her when she attempted to run away from him. The accused caught up to the victim, knocked her to the ground and grabbed her arm in an attempt to get her back in the vehicle. Witnesses to the encounter contacted police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Oscar ROMAN, 22, of the 14400 block of Del Mar Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with abduction, domestic assault & battery, assault & battery on a LEO, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice

Attempted Burglary with Intent to Commit an Assault – On May 13th at 9:23PM, officers responded to the 1800 block of Warren Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed that the accused came to the residence in the above area in regard to a crash that happened earlier in the evening. During the encounter, the accused became angry and approached the porch area of the residence where he proceeded to bang loudly on the door. At one point, the accused kicked the storm door, breaking the lower portion of glass and attempted to enter the home. The accused left the area prior to police arriving at the home. He was later located at his residence on Grayson Rd and arrested without further incident. No entry was made into the residence and no injuries were reported.

Charged with attempted burglary with intent to commit assault
